Maytag - 5.3 Cu. Ft. Electric Range - Stainless Steel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the range for about 2 weeks now and have no problems learning how to use it. It's a good looking stove with plenty of oven space. I like the warming burner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only been using this range for a few days. So far, it is working great. Having used a gas range for many years, getting used to an electric range is taking some time.

I purchased this stove in the Summer of 2020. I have called the local store we purchased it from to inquire about the oven. It takes 30 minutes or more for the oven to get hot and to to the set temperature. The response is this is the norm for stoves these days, they are energy efficient so it is not quick. I am not sure I will purchase Maytag again. I truly want American made but maybe this is not the way to go anymore. Also the top is black and we are not hard on the stove top but it seems to scratch very easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The appliance is fine. We were disappointed there was no user's manual - not even online. There is only a 1 page "Quick Start Guide", so you have to figure out some of the operating procedures on your own. The only manual is for installation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Puchased Maytag appliances based on energy rating and warranty.Used twice, cooked slow the first time so bought an oven thermometer. Oven cooks between 25-50 degrees lower than indicated on temperature display. Cooktop seems fine.
