The bamboo display box is a nice way to safely store the knives in a nice display box. Knives are sharp as expected and I also expect that they will last a long time. Nice feel in the hand and makes eating a great steak an even better experience. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
These will be absolutely amazing on your dinner table. Miyabi Kaizen knives are made with exceptional detail and quality and the steak knives are no exception. Made just like their kitchen counterparts the core is VG10 super steel which means the edge will not chip, is razor sharp and will stay that way. Sixty-four additional layers of steel create the damascus pattern and the Micarta linen handle has an authentic wood appearance with none of the pitfalls of wood such as swelling and cracking. Most people have never cut a steak with a 9.5-12 degree edge so prepare for the oohs and aahs when these are used!
Not only gorgeous but so functional. These blades have a core of VG10 super steel and are protected by 64 layers of additional steel. They are also ice hardened so the knives are razor sharp and stay sharper for a longer period of time. The knife glides through even the toughest of meats. D shaped handle is made out of black linen Micarta and so comfortable.
