The nest x Yale lock works excellent, as expected. There are people that are saying they have problems with it hitting the strike plate or the door jamb and it won't lock. This is because the door handle was not installed properly or needs to be adjusted. Any deadbolt would hit if not properly aligned when the handle is latched. My only complaint - no option of a camera. Battery life probably.

If you want a complete peace of mind for front door security, this is the lock for you. Lock warns you if you forgot to lock it, allows you to create custom unlock codes for guest and allows you to monitor who unlock your door. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase.

This is great for families with adolescent children...they never have to use a physical key. And we love the feature of giving codes to different people who use our home, especially relatives around the holidays. If I had any concern, it would be with how the app doesn't display active battery life...apparently it will notify me when batteries get low....so we'll see.

We reviewed three or four of these types of lock sets online. We chose the Nest x Yale based on the reviews and because we already have a Nest thermostat. We own a home that was built in 1882 with the original back door. We want to have the ability to know when the back door is not locked. We like to be able to allow access without keys. Install was pretty easy and took about an hour.

We love the Nest Yale lock! It was simple to set up, and the app is user-friendly. We rent out our home sometimes, and we're able to assign a temporary code that automatically expires. The app also allows us to assign separate codes to each family member and the cleaning lady, and it will create the code for us if we prefer. Awesome product!
