NewAir - Frigidaire 2-in-1 Evaporative Air Cooler and Fan, 350 sq. ft. with 4 Fan Speeds and Large Detachable 5 Gallon Water Tank - White

Just received ours today, no ice pad as stated. I put block ice, thinking block is better than regular ice, filled with water. I can feel the coolness, but I'm sitting 3 ft from it. I'm trying to decide if it's worth the money. It wasn't cheap. I expected more. I'll sleep on it tonight if I'll return it tomorrow.

I bought this last year in MI, it gets humid here so this tower fan is perfect for it. Blow cool cold air, easy functions, easy to use. Would definitely recommend.

I am very happy with my evaporative cooler! What a difference it makes in warm weather!! I did have to contact support as the pump went out, but I spoke to Melissa in support via chat (which is super easy) and she was QUICK to replace the pump without a hassle!

Had this less than a week so can't say much. It does the job it's meant to do. A bit difficult to see water level through dark indicator window. Could as easily been a lighter colour plastic. Thinking I need a longer hose from kitchen tap to fill reservoir. A whole-house swamp cooler allows pump to run without the fan. On this model, setting fan on 'silent' give filter time to get properly wet improving cooling performance. Keep in mind *no* evaporative cooler works well when air is humid.

I pretty much found the perfect gift for my 15 year old son. My son gets horrible bloody noses every Fall/Winter from the dry air and he hates to sleep at night without a fan on so this is a HUGE win/win for us!! We have had this in his room for a few weeks as just the fan but over the past week have filled it with water since the air is so dry. I love this because it has a 5 gallon tank unlike the tiny humidifier we had been using over the years. I highly recommend this for you home or office!
