Remington RM3100 18-inch Reel Push Mower with Rear Bag

My youngest son suggested that I give this type of mower a try since my new home's yard is small and level. I searched online and followed the link to Walmart's site. I was thrilled to see they carry this because I just didn't even consider them to have it. After reading the positive reviews, I decided to chance it and just buy it. It arrived at my door several days ahead of schedule in great condition. Easy assembly and within minutes, was off and mowing. Love that I will have no maintenance with this mower except sharpening the blades. I look forward to owning it for many years to come.

I love this mower. It's so easy and fast to use. Lightweight and easy to push. I can go as fast as I want to go or slow down if I don't have the energy. It works great for keeping my Bermuda grass cut low without scalping parts of my lawn. Many people have said the wheels lock up, but mine only lock up if a stick or bark or something gets wedged between the blades. I carry a ruler around in my back pocket while mowing, to push sticks out from being wedged without putting my fingers in harms way.

I bought this to do 2 things, mow a portion of our backyard were the ridding mower was hard to fit and gets some exercise. I liked the work out so much, I use it to mow most all of the back. Cheaper then the gym. No ozone.

If you live in the south, be warned that some grass it will cut, but most it will not! Gives you a huge workout, and you have to go over (what does cut) multiple times. I will be trying to send this back.

Having made a horrible online mower purchase before (an electric one), I was reluctant to try again - until I saw this one and read some reviews. It met all of my expectations; easy to put together & easy to use. It cuts the grass effectively. The catcher in the back is good as well. I'd recommend this as long as you don't have a very big yard (like half an acre). For that, you'd need a power mower.
