Shark - Canister Pet Bagless Corded Vacuum - Navy/Silver

I had Samsungs and Dysons but this vacuum had put them both to shame

My product burned in 4 months of use!

I really like the design of this vacuum. It's quiet. It has 3 speed settings and the filters are washable. The canister is very easy to empty, but it is messy. Unfortunately, the canister actually has a dark tint (unlike the picture on the box) and you can't see the contents inside unless you hold it up to a window (which isn't useful). If you use the canister to clean a flat surface and the suction is blocked, the unit makes a high-pitched noise that none of my other vacuums have ever made. The materials are very cheap plastic. The worst is the hose. It's kind of stiff and flimsy. It has weak spots, kinks easily and probably won't hold up, but it can't be replaced because the wiring goes through it. The power head maneuvers very easily around corners, but when you pull it back on the carpet, it stops spinning and makes an unpleasant noise that feels cheap. The lack of a dedicated hardwood floor attachment is very disappointing. This vacuum picks stuff up on hard floors, but the plastic wheels are loud and it does not get into corners. I like a lot about this vacuum, but my concerns about the cheap hose make me uncertain as to whether I will keep it.

The bend in the handle gets clogged very easy, and the attachments almost don't exists for me because the placement location is stupid. They catch on everything, and fall off. So I keep them in a box and forget I have them. If they were on the base it would be more convenient. It's a little inconvenient to carry around. I run a cleaning business so it's in and out of my car several times a day. It's not compact at all Other then that. The vacuum works amazing, it picks up pet hair like crazy. Easy to empty

So far so good! It's awesome that there are functioning buttons on the handled wand. The cord is a little short but I do appreciate that it coils back into the vacuum with a button. I'll be keeping an extension cord with this so that I can clean through the office easily. I'll update this as we have it in the future as we've only had it a week
