Sizzix Big Shot Starter Kit-White W/Gray

I haven't used my new Sizzix yet but just looking at it, reading about everything I can do with it and all the different attachments that I can get for it, I know that I'm going to love it. I originally thought about buying it because of a You Tube program that I watch called The Last Homely House. She demonstrated how her Sizzix helps her make her quilts. That was originally my main reason for buying mine until I saw everything that I can do with it. I can't wait to get started.

I own the Sizzix Big Shot but wanted something smaller that I could just zip a smaller die through and this machine is perfect. Granted, there are dies that are too big for this machine so then I have to get the Big Shot out but this is a perfect machine to add to your collection

This is a fabulous addition to a larger die cutting machine, or a perfect start for a crafter who is considering die cutting. I don't think that the dies and embossing folders that come with this kit are very useful, but if you love to cut out small pieces (think alphabets, tags, medium flower parts), then this is the machine will be a real time saver for you. This very well made item is small, and is the sturdiest and easiest to use of all the mini die cutters. The suction cup on the bottom works very well. (If it gets dusty and doesn't hold for a long time, just wipe off the bottom, and you're good to go. I've had mine for a few years, and many of my friends use my mini cutter. This is the third one I've purchased for those friends who ask me if I'll get them one as a present. It's solid manufacturing means you will enjoy this little dynamo for years! As a gift, or for yourself, there are few crafting items that offer more bang for the buck. This review makes me sound like a shill, but it's a pleasure in a world of cheap crafting items to have something that gives rock solid service for years to come. This seller has a great price, and fast delivery. You can't go wrong.

Not good quality at all. It's impossible to sleep on the bottom bed because the wood has a horrible paint smell that makes my throat hurt. this is not safe to breathe! It wobbles when kids get on top. it's scary

This is the perfect companion to a larger die cutting machine. It's perfect for keeping on the craft desk, and tackling all the little fiddly dies. It's small, but very heavy and appears well made. Honestly, I think a fairer price would be around $30, but I'm glad I got it just the same.
