Staub - Cast Iron 12-inch Square Grill Pan - Grenadine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are using our 12” cast iron grill pan on our portable induction burner for outdoor Korean bbq. It's been incredible. Seers and cooks meet to perfect tenderness and great flavor. Clean up is a breeze. Can't wait to try the grill press we purchased with it.

I am very happy with this grill. The enamel coating means no seasoning and a much easier cleaning process than traditional cast iron grills. The iron heats very evenly and holds the temperature ensuring even cooking and great markings. The deep channels between the ridges allow fat to flow away from my food and not sit in it.

The Staub grill pan is heavy duty and the performance matches the weight and quality. This will do it all from paninis and grilled cheese, to sausage, chicken and all the meats you love! Grilled veggies are also a delight in this pan! Nice that the food does not sit in the fats, as they move to the bottom of the pan, below the ridges. Easy to clean - just soak and wipe clean. They are already seasoned, so no need to do it yourself.

Not only is it incredibly beautiful with the deep rich colors, but it does an awesome job at indoor grilling. The cast iron heats up to smoking hot, key for great grilling and the enameled interior browns perfectly but also releases nicely. I love grilling burgers and vegetables but it's perfect for paninis as well. Heirloom quality; I'm sure to pass it down to the next generation.

I love using a grill pan for stovetop burgers , chops and steaks. The staub Cast iron grill pan has always been my go to... I know that it used to have spouts on the side and now they are gone, that is a terrific improvement in my mind because storing the one with the spouts was always the issue. Issue gone!
