The phone self is very easy to use and it may not have a lot of memory but if u want to play games then buy a gaming console. It is compatible with any sim and is Android marshmallow. I had mine for two years and it worked perfectly until I cracked it I bought a new one and took the sims out the cracked one and put in the new one and it worked perfectly fine
I have an Alcatel pop thru family mobile works great, bought this phone just for something different and I can't even send text I'm constantly getting unable to send message. I also hate that I have an SD card and this phone will not allow anything to be moved to it taking up all the available storage on phone which isn't much.
Prior to the ZTE phone I owned a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge - my first Android. Very good phone, GREAT pictures but horrible battery life. I tried this phone since at this price it is nearly disposable. I would rate this as good with these notes. Battery life is GREAT. Photos and not very good. Internal phone storage is minimal but I wasn't concerned since the phone allows for adding SD storage - The problem there is that virtually NOTHING will save to the SD card. You can't move apps or their contents to the SD card. So if great photo quality and limited storage aren't deal breakers this camera brings a lot of bang for the buck.
Purchased as a replacement for a name brand higher priced device, but is now "my phone". I have a Nexus 5 that I had just finished paying off that suddenly shut itself down and is stuck in a persistent boot loop (power button switch failure, not software.) The phone is out of warranty and I was hoping to get insurance to pay for it. But I really needed a phone ASAP so I went to Walmart and picked this phone up. I popped in a T-Mobile SIM Card (the Family Mobile version of this phone does NOT HAVE A SIM CARD, the Best Buy purchaser before me is incorrect) and powered this thing on. After a slightly longer than usual initial boot I was signing in to Google as per the Android norm. So here's the review part: Screen - Usable but not great. The screen is a standard budget phone screen. It seems a bit washed out and the colors are on the "cool" side. If the phone is flat on a table and you're looking at it from an angle below (from bottom to top) the screen is very light and text can seem unreadable. It seems very touch responsive however. Body - The phone feels good in your hand -- it's not too heavy but it's not so light it feels like a toy either. The grey back of the phone has a matte finish but the sides are really slick and can feel "slippery" but the case I purchased fixed this problem. The charging port is off to the side which I actually prefer. Software and Performance - This phone is surprisingly fast and comes with Android 5.1. There is only 4 GB of phone memory but ZTE has done a fair job of trimming Android fat so you have over 1 GB usable out of the gate. Pop in an SD card and learn some basic memory management and you'll be fine. Features - The camera is all I need. I think it's 5 MP but takes reasonable photos, and it has a flash. Front camera is pretty standard, nothing bad or exceptional. For $40 bucks I could buy a new one every 2 months of the year and still come out cheaper than the total cost of my Nexus 5. I don't think I'll have to though, I really like this phone.
I bought for my 9yr old as emergency for school, bus, etc. It works fine and he downloads games like any other expensive phone. The One issue I may include is that occasionally the phone freezes and we have to restart or take the battery out for a few minutes. Other than that, good phone.
