[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fact that it's an impeller washer, but it gets unbalanced very easily, there is no detergent or fabric softener slot, so you have to add the detergent to the tub before the clothes and get a downy ball for softener. The drain and spin setting goes through a whole wash cycle again. Overall a bit disappointed in the purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 90% of the time I wash sheets, blankets or large items, it goes out of balance. I've tried multiple settings, including bulky items. I dread each Sunday (clean sheet Sunday), because I end up fighting it, with it. It restarts itself multiple times, usually to to no avail. I have also manually moved items around to even out the balance. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It was installed and set up for us. We have verified that it is level. Unfortunately I am about 7 weeks in to owning this washer, and if I had more money would replace it now. Additionally, I wish I had paid closer attention to the features. It is minus two items my previous washer had: 1. Countdown timer so you would know how long before the next load can go in. 2. A buzzer indicating the load is done.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So sorry I upgraded my washer. It is the noisiest washer I've ever owned. Ridiculous noise level. I guess that is what you have to deal with when you don't have an agitator anymore. A Washer with Impeller only is great for washing bulky items but be prepared for loud vibrations and banging during the spin cycle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One week old, so far so good. Mistakenly ordered impeller type but like because wash bulky items and don't have to squeeze fabric around agitator. Last whirlpool a bust, but Roper that lasts several years now owned by whirlpool, so here I be.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A good, basic washing machine. Did not want a "smart" washing machine sending me texts and reminders. Large capacity, top loading, easy to operate. I miss the guide from my old Whirlpool that gave an indication of the approximate water level for each cycle, but that's a small consideration.
