Can opener works well. Easy to handle with hands that do not work as well as they should.
I have just bought this can opener because I know how well it works. My mom bought this opener 5 years ago and it still works great, which is pretty amazing considering the price. She has probably tried 6-7 electric can openers before this one and they all had problems within a few months and had to be replaced. In my experience, this opener is definitely worth the money.
I used this can opener a few times and it worked ok, then it became harder and harder to get the can to stay attached. Then once I got the can to attach, it would fall off halfway through and the contents would spill. I gave it away. Again, I have gone back to using the good old manual can opener. I've had it.
I needed a new one so I was so happy to get it last year, it worked fine first few cans, and gets worse every time I use it. It takes at least 4-8 tries to get the can started, and then you have to help it turn, and hold on or it will drop it and make a big mess. I will never buy this brand again. I want a Hamilton Beach Open Station and hopefully it is as awesome as it looks. lol
the can opener did not work when i received it.
This product is a piece of junk! Cans jump off the toothed gear. Take 6 tries to open one can. Mostly give up and get the hand crank opener.
I bought this can opener just before Christmas. At first it performed like a dream, but the more I used it, the harder it became to keep the can on the cutting track. After 3 mos. of use, it has become impossible to keep a can on the rotating wheel. Save your money and find an opener with a large feeding wheel.
THis can opener is very hard to get your cans attached to. I would not recommed buying this product.
