The sound is rich and huge that comes out of this sound cube. It's really unbelievable! Very very happy with this purchase.
Let me begin by stating that I have been in the Audio Business for many years, car audio and home audio, I have been an IASCA sound quality judge during the heyday of car audio and I've designed sound systems for home and professional applications. I want you to know that you can believe me when I say that the TDK Sound Cube is a VERY impressive musical device....so impressive I still can't quite wrap my mind around how something so small can sound so huge. This thing simply blows me away, the sound is tight and punchy with really impressive, clean bass response and brilliant clear highs, the coaxial speakers and passive radiators work so well in the sealed box that what you hear is a very pleasing representation of all types of music. You can't spend a better $233.00 (suggested retail is $299.00) on audio. I know you are waiting for me to tell you how loud it goes...well, LOUD! Good and loud...hey, IT GOES TO 11! Really, it goes to 11, see for yourself. I can assure you NOTHING in this price range will even come close to this unit in clarity, volume, and punch. I will even venture that you would be hard pressed to find something that sounds better at twice the price! This unit will work perfect for any room, garage, or even back deck, corner load it and get an extra 3db for some real wrap around sound. I can't give this any higher rating than a 5 here but I will tell you I have two of them now and would get another in a heartbeat if I were to find a need. It also works perfect with an iPod/iPad and had a USP input so you can use the line level output on the iPlayers. Get one, you too will be impressed!
