The sound quality on this docking system is great. At normal volumes, the bass is deep, the mid-range is clear, and it provides very good treble. But, when the volume gets really cranked, the bass stops going up with the volume. But this product is highly recommended by me a music lover. The styling of this product is sharp and is well built. Since this device is also portable, I took it to a party to celebrate the end of the school year. Thanks to the speakers, that was one of the best times I ever had in school. Great Job Sony!
This 40w speaker delivers high quality no distension excellent bass response audio. With the BT feature you don't have to be married to an iPhone, my Samsung s5 work just great with it, no need to be docked. Bathroom, garage, storage and garden so far it works excellent with the rechargeable battery.
Good price. Internet purchase from National Chain. Packaging during shipment was impressive. No damage. Ease of set up, remote easy to use. Versatility just great; FM, Pandora, charger, alarm or whatever. Nice sound quality and more than ample volume. Very, very handy to have as sound system for 2nd area, such as bedroom, garage, work area or kitchen. Seems very well made; very satisfied with Sony. Ditched Bose.
I looked at so many portable speakers is not even funny. Bose, Beats, JBL, etc. I didn't like the sound from the smaller speakers priced at $99-199. I could not justify a $300 price tag either. I went to a store and saw this SONY for $249.99 new. I tested its smaller sibling the 200 and I loved the sound but it didn't have a battery. When I found it refurbished at Walmart it was a no brainer. Sound its great. The battery is excellent. Took it to a pool party and everyone connected to it via BT. We were there for 5 hours and this thing played music non stop. When docked this dock charges my device battery even if its battery is being used. I assume that once the battery reaches a certain level it stops charging the docked device. The only thing is that I have to remove my phone case to use the dock. No a problem if your case exposes the bottom part where the charger is. The silver top piece where the controls are looks new but if you look at the rest of the unit you can tell is used. Nevertheless I'm very happy with my purchase. The other morning my daughter came to my room and I was playing some jazz and she said "you love that thing", yes I do.

I love sound quality and it took me a few months to test all the current speakers on the market. Nothing could be the Sony and I was so impressed that I bought a second one for my mom. It is very easy to use, the price is right and the battery makes it your next companion at the beach, pool, yard, party, barbq, shower. Best purchase ever.
I love this speaker! It has wonderful sound quality and does much more than the Bose dock for the same price. I upgraded my phone and lost 90% of my music, I was excited to know I can play the music from my tablet via Bluetooth! Buy this one, its great!
Comparing all speakers out there, this has the best value, sound power, bass and quality! Plus the fact that you dont have to always have it plugged into the wall, love that! Great purchase!!
i bought this for my 11 years old son and it is just great. The bluetooth works wonder as well as the radio. The sound is really nice with ways to change the sound setting (pop, rock, jazz....) It is portable as you can fill up the battery and use it without the plus.
The model itself is good but one of its main features which is the rechargeable battery is missing. This is a refurbished product from Walmart and Walmart should take the responsibility for their poor and unacceptable quality control mess. I will accept this this product for now but I will never buy a refurbished product from Walmart again.
