My initial reaction to this heating pad when I first got it was doubt. At first I didn't think it was heating up as good as it should. I used the heating pad the first day of receiving it. I used it under my neck as I went to bed. (I can get a stiff neck when the weather turns cold, and it was snowing outside). I put it on High, then after about 1 minute of usage, I was putting it on #3. Then after a couple of minutes I had it lowered down to L and after about an hour, I wasn't using it for the rest of the night. It was warming me up good. I use it on my feet at night as I go to bed. I have cold feet. I have complete satisfaction in the heating of this heating pad; so much so that I only need to use it on L. I have used the two hour timer and it works great. I have used the continuous heat and it stays on all night long if I want it to. I really do like this heating pad. I would recomend it for anyone who wants a continuous heating pad; this one does a good job. And it does get warm quick and it stays warm.
I love the timer and heat settings. The high is truly high heat, no wimpy heat. ; ) I have back problems so I sleep on this and it's great. The heat seems evenly disbursed and there are 5 settings for temperature, so you can't go wrong. Very easy to get used to. The light up dial is great.
After reading the reviews I decided to go ahead with this heating pad. I couldn't be happier. I love the size of the pad and the length of the cord. My daughter came to visit and was having lower back pain. She tried it out and wanted to take it home. I told her I would buy her one. I guess that says enough!
I HAVE TRIED ALMOST EVERY HEATING PAD ON THE MARKET AND THIS IS THE ONE AN ONLY ONE THAT LASTS. IT OUTLASTED AT LEAST 20 OTHERS. IT ALSO HAS THE VERY BEST FEATURES, WHICH MAKE IT EVEN BETTER.. 1ST IT HAS 6 DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES, 2ND IT WILL SHUT OFF AUTOMATICALLY IF YOU WISH, AND 3RD IT WILL ALSO STAY ON INDEFINATELY IF YOU WANT.. 4TH THE PAD IT HAS, IS SOFT AND COMFORTABLE.. ALL OTHERS HAVE EVERYTHING INSIDE PLASTIC WHICH WEARS AND GETS BRITTLE.. THIS ONE DOES NOT NONE OTHER COMPARES...
I bought my wife one of these heating pads a few years back because of the long cord it came with. She has a very bad back and can't be bending and twisting to plug something in where it is not easily accessible. She fell in love with the control and comfort of it. She uses hers almost constantly and they last two to three years. I am sure under normal use it would last several years longer. This is one product I just order when needed. I will not even look at other brands because they just aren't up to the standards this one has set.
I was so thrilled to FINALLY find a heating pad that stays on if you need it to for constant comfort through the night! I have had 2 back surgeries, and I use my heating pad daily. It has been so frustrating over the past months trying to find a heating pad WITHOUT the auto-shut off feature as standard. I know it is for safety, yet I've awoken countless nights to a throbbing back against a COLD heating pad that has timered OFF. This heating pad allows YOU to control the heating time from 2,4,6, or 8 hours OR choose the STAY ON feature for constant heat and relief. I LOVE IT!!! Thank you Sunbeam!!
I was very happy to find this product at Walmart.com.I like the feature that you can keep the heating pad ON until you want to turn it off yourself and it does have auto shut but it is programmable.It heats up really fast and the heat is consistant.just love it!
This heating pad is really just OK...it's not as long a pad as I'd wanted, and it's pretty stiff for something that's supposed to be comforting. It seems to me like I can feel the wires inside the pad. But it does stay on and that's what I wanted most of all in a heating pad -- so I'm keeping it. I've looked everywhere I could think of for one that didn't automatically shut-off after 2 hours, so considered myself lucky to have found this one. I haven't used it other than to try out the features, so I don't know how durable it will be, but I'm hoping it will last because this was hard enough to find. I also plan never to wash it in a washer, even though the instructions say you can. It's an electrical appliance and that just doesn't seem "smart" to me.
i read alot of reviews about this product, most of them good, however this heating pad does not get very hot at all, not compared to another brand i had before this one, i like the fact that you can set it to stay on as long as you want rather than the 4 hour cut off on others, just would have been happier if this got super hot like some people wrote that it did in their review.
This doesn't really get hot its more like slightly warm I have a bad back and knees if I have my clothing cover where I am using this I can't feel it at all.
