Good product, a little pricey.
I am been feeding my baby organic gerber cereal from when he was 4 months old and I am so glad I did... great food!!!
works good in bottles or to mix as food
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a question. Since this formula is organic, does that mean that all it's ingredients are in fact organic? My main concern is the soy. Is the soy also organic, non-gmo? Thank you
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby eats with pleasure and I am really recommending to others
I don't know why people are talking bad about this product. One person is screaming that the product has soy. If he/she read the label before purchasing, they would've noticed soy as an ingredient, and should not have bought it. Another is angry it has lecithin because it's an allergen. Well, rice is also an allergen. So why give your child this product if it is allergen product completely? Multiple research university studies have found that babies that were slowly introduced to allergens, starting between 3-6 months old, have a less chance of developing adverse allergies in the future. It's all personal choices, choose what you want to give your child, but don't give a bad review without doing a bit of research on a product before purchasing or using.
Rice is rice. Doesn't seem to really matter about "organic" or not. All I care about is the ingredients. These "organic" rice are nothing special except they have a VERY strong smell (like wet rice that has been left out and gone bad) that makes the already smelly formula a million times worse. On top of that, it was more expensive. These were suggested to me when the regular was out of stock, I will not be getting it again.
I bought this product and my baby didn't like it because the iron added. So I bought organic rice and she was happy with that.
The exp date was just one month and the taste was bad because that
I just purchased this cereal for my baby, and was quite surprised when I got home to find that it has soy lecithin added. Why in the world would Gerber add soy, one of the most common allergens these days, to a first food? The point of feeding babies rice cereal and single ingredient foods for the first few months is to keep an eye out for possible reactions in the baby. I won't be using this cereal for my baby.
