Smells nice. Tough on odor.
I wanted to get away from the chemically based fragrance in scented deoderants and body sprays-this is the best. clean citrus scent with definate orange notes. Wasn't that effective on a hot day used alone as deoderant, but paired with an unscented antiperspirant it worked great. Lots of compliments on how great I smell and my very chemical sensitive friend has no issue with it.
I love this spray deodorant spray in a real glass bottle! I use it all summer long. It's not a strong deodorant, but it's plenty effective for me. It's so refreshing. I have to stop using it and switch to a roll-on when winter arrives in Wisconsin; otherwise it makes me shiver when I get dressed in the morning. But at the first sign of spring, out comes the Weleda, my absolutely favorite deodorant in the world!
When I decided to get away from antiperspirants several years ago, I tried a crystal deodorant. The solid form was a nuisance but the roll-on worked well - until I became allergic to it. I tried a number of natural products that left my skin feeling unpleasantly sticky and/or just didn't do the job. I happened upon this by accident, and decided to try it because I'd been impressed with the quality of other Weleda products I'd used in the past. I'm so glad I found this: it dries quickly, isn't sticky and keeps me odor-free all day. Even when I'm out in the heat and sweating a lot it holds up fairly well. Now, to be fair, I'm not ALL that stinky to begin with. I'm a middle-aged woman and I just don't have as many of the apocrine (odor-producing) sweat glands as a man or a younger person. If necessary, you could carry some along for touch-ups, just be aware it comes in a glass bottle.
it is a great deodorant, excellent alternative. it is a deodorant, no anti-perspirant; it is light; don't feel sticky; dry fast; nice smell but not strong and not persistant (those ones that you feel the smell the whole day); and it is very resistant to high sweating and exercises.. no odor after gym sessions.
I have been using this product for years as my first layer of deodorant, or by itself at night before bed. It is delightful to the nose, highly effective, and goes a long way! Excellent product, simple, natural, short ingredients list! Really Good Value & Performance
I love this because it doesn't have any aluminum in it, and IT WORKS! It creates a slightly acidic atmosphere that the BO bacteria can't live in. When I first started using it, I had to apply it a couple of times a day to get the bacteria under control. After that, once was enough.
I just read about how preservatives and aluminum can be problematic. This is the only product I found that doesn't have any of those ingredients. Like all preservative and aluminum-free deodorants, it may need to be reapplyed once if it is an especially hot day. It works longer than most. I like the sage and rose scented too. I just wish these deodorants cost less. That is why I stopped using them in the first place. At full price they cost too much. Now Swansons has a better price.
I was afraid that the citrus scent might smell like furniture polish, but I was pleasantly surprised by the fresh lemon and grapefruit peel scent. I work 12-hr shifts and it does a great job of keeping me odor-free all day, but I use around 8 sprays per underarm. At that rate, I will run out within a month or two. I hope to find an equally effective, equally safe, yet cheaper product.
I decided to give this deodorant a try after others on the market did not do well. I really like it especially that it is a spray on. I have to reapply it a couple of times throughout the day but that is fine. I am pleased that it contains no harmful chemicals that can harm my body and disrupt my hormones. It smells great too. I have purchased the sage and citrus brand. Both are great. I highly recommend.
