About a year ago, I started having skin reactions to my deoderrants. I didn't understand why, but I quickly decided to try different brands until I found one that worked. Itchy underarms and red sores on the skin just isn't fun. I tried I believe three brands. Schmidt's was the first one that didn't give me the horrible skin reaction. I was so thrilled! My Mom had a stick and have it to me to try and it worked great. So when that one ran out, I got two more. So far I am loving them. I have the Rose and Vanilla and the Lime and something. Both work great!
I have always had problems with underarm smell no matter what i used... this product solved it completely. Love it. Will purchase again and also going to try the soap. I bought the bergamot lime!!!!
Ive finally found a healthy natural deodorant that works! The smell of Bergamot & Lime is great and lasts all day. I will be a returning customer to Schmidts for sure. I do wish for more availability in stores but for now I'll order online.
This is a great deodorant. Great ingredients, easy to apply, lasts all day. I absolutely love the way it smells! I wear this in the heat of summer working outside and not once had smelly pits or ugly marks on the armpit of my shirts. Love this stuff and I feel like I'm not being poisoned like when I use to wear antiperspirant.
After using traditional deordorant for years, I noticed a change in my skin as well as products becoming ineffective. The next choice was to try natural products....Crystal salt, Tom's of Maine....I tried many and wasted a lot of money. I actually bought Schmidt's Bergamot + Lime Deodorant Stick on an impulse. Kind of a " what do I have to lose" moment. Best. Purchase. EVER! Although the stick is a little more dense than traditional stick deodorant, holding it to your skin to warm it a little (as the directions state) makes it soooo smooth to glide on. A little goes a long way so there is no need to use nearly as much as regular deodorants. I believe the best part is the wonderful scent! No more overwhelming "powder fresh" smell lingering on my clothing or white powdery stains. I've recommended this amazing deodorant to friends and will definitely be purchasing more ;)
This is my first time using a natural deodorant and I think I'm hooked. This one in particular has a great scent. My only recommendation for those using this deodorant is to not apply it just after shaving. I did this and it burned, so I quickly rinsed it off and was fine. Otherwise it is a good product.
Works better than regular deoderant for underarm BO. Amazing! Worked when nothing else did. Does leave some wetness but I don't sweat there much anyway so it's perfect for me. So happy to have found this all natural deoderant.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent a free sample of this to try and I was very excited because it smelled amazing. The first time I tried it, I didn't read the instruction that says to press it against your skin to soften it. So apparently without doing that I cut the heck out of my armpits. This deodorant has some sort of exfoliation and it tore up my sensitive armpits. I tried using it a couple more times thinking it was just the way I applied it the first time but unfortunately this deodorant did not work for my sensitive skin. It felt like I was scraping a rough rock against my armpits.
I bought this item on June 1st. Since then I've been using it daily. I love the smell. But I started noticing that the skin on my underarms starting feeling course and different. When I looked in the mirror I could believe my eyes. There's this black staining all under my arms. I tried scrubbing it off but it doesn't come off. I've never had different pigmentation under my underarms. In fact, they are usually softer and lighter than the rest of my arms. What was so unusual was that I never had burning or itching. Will not purchase again.
My deodorant has lumps in it that come off when using it. I contacted customer service and they said this happened because of exposure to high heat and not using stabilizers. Instead of offering me a refund or replacement they said I should dab on the deodorant instead of rolling it on. Doesn't work when you have hair... bad customer service and a bad product.
