Really enjoy the vintage look with the modern technology! I look forward to displaying this in my kitchen
I gave it five stars for the 5 alarm fire I almost started the first time I used it. (It did set off 2 smoke alarms.) it was my fault. My old toaster took 55 days to achieve golden brownness. This one doesn't. Be advised the first time you use it to pay attention to it and not be cooking eggs at the same time. I trust I will get the hang of it. I love the retro look. I got the red one!
This toaster is not only a great bit of decor to a kitchen, it toasts evenly and makes great toast.
This is a fantastic toaster. The design is great, the bread toasts all over (our other one did not), it is quiet. We will get many years of use out of this.
Beautiful, modern and work's well
Toast comes out a beautiful golden brown but not dry. This is the first time I bought this particular brand and it's worth every penny. Great idea having selection dials and buttons on front where they are easy to see for making the selections. Sturdy weight but not heavy my last one was so light that when lever was pushed down sometimes it didnt catch so it needed more a little force to hold it down causing it to tilt over. Looks great on countertop love the color red which goes with my kitchen.
Burns toast even at lower level. Could easily start a fire. 1st one was replaced by 2nd one. 2nd one no different than 1st. 2nd one returned to company. Two star because company made good on returning money promptly.
Toasts dark on one side and light on the other. This is the third toaster I've tried as a replacement of my old Kitchen Aid toaster and they all do the same thing. So decided the keep it.
This toaster burns bread on any number higher than 2 so you don't actually have any range. If I want a light color I have to manually eject the bread. One side is always darker than the other. The toaster is very light so it can tip over if you push the handle too hard (does that mean it's made of plastic? It feels so cheap). The slots are a bit too thin, they work fine for bread but bagels feel too tight. Overall I'm just very disappointed. It looks so pretty I really wanted it to work well.
It was a nice looking toaster , set toaster to num. 2 and burnt toast set to num.1 still burnt toast. returned for full refund.
