I bought this due to the never ending supply of yellow Labrador hair flying around! This works perfectly for picking up dog hair. It's so lightweight that it's almost like pushing a broom. I can do my whole house and still have a bar left. The only criticism I have is that it basically only sucks up from the front, you have to be directly in front of the dog hair. Would buy this again in a heartbeat. I vacuum multiple times a week with this!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted something quick and easy for our main floor. We have mostly wood laminate flooring with several low pile rugs. Our main floor is approximately 1200 square feet and I can vacuum the entire floor with out charging. It has a boost feature you can use to help pick up bigger messes. I usually don't need to use the turbo button. The first click when turning it on is for non-carpet floor and you can push it all the way up for carpet floors. This does a great job. It stores nice and compact. I plug it in my front closet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark® Pet Plus Cordless Stick Vacuum with PowerFins™, Self-Cleaning Brushroll, and Anti-Allergen Complete Seal vacuum is excellent for cleaning my house, and works especially well on pet messes. The suction is so strong and does NOT weaken over time. The self cleaning brush roll has meant for two months of constant use, I have not once had to clear or clean the brush head. It has extremely good suction and moves easy and smooth into tiny and tight areas and underneath things incredibly well. I could easily clean the brush roll should I need to, but I don't think that would be an issue. The container is clear and you can see how full it is, and very easy to empty. There's a simple push button and you empty it over a trash can. All the filters are washable and it's so light weight it would be great for anyone with mobility issues. This can even be used while you're sitting if you have a problem or are unable to stand. There is also a super easy to use charging cable and the battery is entirely removable for charging! I'm super impressed at the dust-bunny-busting-power of this beautiful machine. I have a parrot and this works so great on seeds on the floor and bird messes, for my dog and cat it removes pet hair from everywhere and the attachments work great for the car! The vacuum separates and you can use just the small canister and the attachment of choice for cars, stairs or anywhere. I also love the storage option, where you can take the canister off and clip it to the bottom near the brush roll. This lowers the center of gravity and there's no tipping over and possible damage to the vacuum or other things. It sits very nicely while not in use and causes no tripping or falling and it looks really cute parked in the corner.

This has been great for everyday usage making it easy to give my living room quick vacuuming on a daily basis. With two cats their constantly dropping tiny cardboard pieced from their scratch pad, so I need to vacuum everyday. I like how compact this Shark vacuum is too, it's easy to store out of the way, plus it comes with several attachments. With all the different accessories this comes with you can definitely get to all the nooks and crannies with this vacuum. I like that this can be used on carpet as well as bare floors. The dust cup is see through, so I can easily see when it needs to be emptied and oh boy I have been surprised at how much dirt, fur and heaven knows what else it has picked up! Super easy to detach it and open the dust cup to empty out. This Shark vacuum can literally be used in different ways with all the attachments and how easy it is to go from the tall stick vacuum to a hand held vacuum for say like cleaning your car, yes!! It's just been so, so handy. The battery does last a good amount of time. The charge if I am doing quick cleanups with last a few days. One thing I do hate is if I am deep cleaning and I don't look at the charge light I start cleaning then it just dies, that's annoying. I wish it would make a beeping sound to tell me it's dying and I might as will charge it before I start my deep cleaning. It doesn't take to long to charge the battery. This does have good suction but with tiny paper down in the carpet I had to move it with my foot then go over it then it would get picked up. So I do wish it had a bit more powerful suction for the tiny, tiny stuff. Doesn't happen all the time, but it has happened. I still love this one way more than my other vacuum, that is now gone haha. I do wish I had gotten an accessory bag to store the attachments, it was stated on the box, but didn't get. When vacuuming it feels well made, sturdy. Charging is easy, just slide the battery off to charge, and slide back on when done.
We have had this almost 2 months. we have 2 corgis and a cat. lots of dog hair. this product works great however it is not good to clean and horrible for pet hair. the brush has a bunch of pet hair wrapped around it and you can't get it out, even if you take it apart. the pet hair also gets stuck in the wheels.
I have never owned a cordless stick vacuum but was super excited to get one now that we have hard floors. I figured with this one being pet specific it would fit my needs. Not even 30 seconds into my vacuuming there is hair wound around the tiny wheels and sticking to the soft strip on the bottom. The hair around the wheels is not easy to remove unless you take the whole vacuum apart. It hinders the wheels from spinning thus creating dragging streaks on the floor. I am quite disappointed that a PET vacuum does this. I love my Shark Liftaway regular vacuum but not this one.
The suction power of this vacuum is horrible. I have to go over the same spot 3 times to get everything sucked up. The range of motion of the vacuum head is not great either. I have to turn the head manually at times to get it to fit to an area. Overall, not happy with this vacuum.
I've had this for three days & have had to completely disassemble it twice to get pet hair untangled. I have a German Shepard & expected to have to take it apart every now & then but having to get out a screwdriver & remove the wheels after every use is excessive. Definitely not a good pet vacuum.
I've always recommended Shark over Dyson after owning both. I received this one as a Christmas present to replace my 10 year old Dyson Stick Vac. I've already had to unclog this one twice since owning it for 2 weeks. Pet hair gets entwined in all the little crevices. This is not good for picking up pet hair. Hate that you have to disassemble the handle and hook it to the bottom by a plastic clip for storage. I don't foresee that clip lasting very long. Stay away from this one.
I bought this on a recommendation from a family member. Should have kept the receipt as I would have returned this. Scum. Does not have the power and suction needed to pick up my German Shepherds hair
