This is a GREAT deal from Walmart! I am new to scrapbooking...and have wanted one of these for a couple of years. Just couldn't afford it because accessories tend to be a la carte. Walmart offered this great kit with the newest color scheme of Big Shot - white with gray platform, 2 standard plates, and a basic flower die. It's a really nice way for newbies to get used to how to use the machine, etc. I have since ordered a few more dies and the extended platform that works terrific for embossing. Paper glides through this thing like butter. It is not as obtrusive as expected and doesn't seem to scoot around on the table top like I've read about or seen on You Tube. I am very excited to have it and plan to try fabric and shrink plastic next!! Shipping was quick and right to my doorstep - FREE basic shipping through Walmart.com!!!! NOTE: It's a really good idea to watch some You Tubes about the product first so you can familiarize yourself with the true versatility of what this thing will cut through. Sizzix' website also offers really great project ideas.
This is my second machine so i already had the platforms to use the machine. The price for me was right and i am loving the smooth operation. Just realize that the platform does not come with this offer and you need it to operate the machinr
Cuts felt wonderfully
The Big Shot is my third Sizzix die cut machine. Once the crank handle is assembled I tried it and works great! This is a great starter machine for beginners, intermediates, and experience crafters. I love the gray and white color!! Great value for the price. Oh, order yourself a platform and dies from Walmart along with this purchase. I would suggest dies that are flexible and can be used to make cards, scrapbooks, media, and fabric. You are only limited by your imagination.
I was amazed at how quickly it arrived and it's everything I wanted and best of all I got it much cheaper than most places I've looked.
This machine enables you to quickly cut out one or multiples of fun die cuts to add to your cards, packaging and scrapbook pages. Love it!
Great machine. Good buy and would recommend it to any crafter.
This Sizzix machine is well made and sturdy. However, the package does not include the platform that is necessary to use embossing folders and various die-cut shapes, so there will be additional cost to what initially looked like a good deal. Also, there were very few instructions in the packaging and on the box, so there is guesswork involved in figuring out the proper use.

I was thrilled to see this machine at Walmart at such a great price! I then realized it didn't come with a platform which is needed to do paper crafting. I will be returning this tomorrow. I found a Big Shot on Amazon for $79.99 that includes the platform and 2 plates.
