My grandson loves trains and he loves it. He plays with it daily
This was a Christmas gift for me 2 year old nephew. He LOVED it! The hooks between the cars was a little bit of a challenge for him, but that's okay - it will help him get better dexterity. When he saw the cows in the back of the train he immediately started to say "moo moo". I ordered this on Thursday night to be delivered by Walmart on Saturday before Christmas. It was delivered in a timely fashion, which I was also quite please with.
I have bought this little train for both grandsons ( age 1 and 3 ). The one year old loves it and the 3 year old has had it for two years now and his mom reports that it is still his "Go to toy." Believe me, this kid has plenty of toys, but he loves his little wooden farm train the best. This is a home run for any little boy and probably a lot of little girls too!
Bought this for my son; great classical wooden toy. Holds up well, is a good size, and my son loves playing with it... it has plastic tab connectors to hold the cars together. Comes with 4 blocks that represent apple, carrot, broccoli, and something else that I can't remember off the top of my head; has a cow that looks like the cow from their animal barn wooden puzzle (the cow is shaped like that puzzle piece too); and has two milk cartons.
My nephew loved this little train set! I was also pleased with how quickly it arrived, especially considering the COVID-related delays the company warned it had been experiencing.
One of the BEST toys ever. My 3 year old grandson still loves his train after two years and has not yet destroyed it. My daughter says it is his "go to toy." We just got one for another grandson who just turned one. he is fascinated by it.
This little wooden train is well made. The painting is bright and cheerful and unlike some other trains they stay connect till you don't want them too. I gave four stars but it's more like 4.5. The reason is the dents on top of engine. It's as though someone took a hammer and banged it. I won't be returning...it's really not a big deal but I know that quality control would want to know. As I said...the is everything I wanted in a toy!

I ordered this train on line. When I received it I noticed one of the train cars has a piece of wood splintered off of a corner. I noticed several blobs of glue on all of the train cars. I will be returning this train. Not the quality I have seen when purchasing Melissa and Doug wood items from stores.
