Blocks were for grandchildren and were an instant hit. One of the few toys they use consistently. Only critique is that there are too few of the larger red and blue blocks. This set was actually purchased to supplement a 40 piece set purchased at Christmas, since the red and blue cannot be purchased separately. We put the bigger blocks together and left the yellow ones languishing in the box doomed to be forever flat.
I bought 1 box for my now 4 year old granddaughter 2 years ago. She loved them but my son said needed more of the large red blocks they only have 4 per box. I got her another box and she has been playing with them ever since. She now has a 2 year old sister and just last weekend I babysat them and they played together with them with no "not sharing" issue. Just sent my newest 2 year old granddaughter 2 sets and she loves them. I taught preschool kids 2-5 years old for 15 years and these blocks have always been a part of my classrooms. Recommend using clear wrapping tape to cover closed ends for more durability practically indestructible. Most kids like to stack and knock down before start building things. You can't go wrong buying these for 1 to numerous kids. Easy to wipe clean as well. Highly recommend
The blocks are a good size, but I feel you'd have to buy 3 to 4 packs to have enough to build a fort. When you order it, you do have to put the cardboard blocks together by folding according to directions, honestly, it wasn't too bad. I WOULD NOT recommend getting these for toddlers who chew. It'll take very few sharp baby chomps to make a hole. Other than that, they are fun and perfect for play time.
My granddaughter really loves these blocks. she played with them for hours.
If you want to give the best present ever, buy these! my 2 1/2-year-old grandson does not stop building. it's the best game ever, we build and he knocks over. #musthavethesecoolestgift
My 3 year old son loves these blocks! He likes to stack them up and knock them all down. They arrived as flat cardboard and you build all the blocks, which took a little bit of time but once they are all put together they are very durable. I definitely recommend for preschool age kids. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.”
They are absolutely what I thought they would be however I was unaware (and this is more my fault) that I would have to put them together myself. Super easy to put together, very sturdy. Took me a half an hour to do the whole lot. There are enough for household use. I purchased them for my church and might purchase a second batch because there aren't really enough for more than 2 children to play with but the price is so good I wouldn't mind getting a second set.
Hard to put together because the instructions wasn't clear. I YouTube it and was able to build them within 5 minutes
This is a repeat purchase for my family. I purchased two sets of 24 blocks, and I would say this is pretty much the minimum quantity you would want. We already have I believe 36 blocks. The price is better than anything on Amazon or target. These blocks are durable, children can stand on them and they will not break. Now that my older grandchild is 2 1/2 she is getting quite clever, so we needed more! I purchased artificial snowballs, as we are in the Midsouth, and I am going to build two forts for the girls to throw snowballs at each other on Christmas Eve. This type of block has been around for decades, and is a worthy investment.
Perfect for our toddler that LOVES to build! Easy assembly and he is able to stand on a single block and it holds up. This is a good amount of blocks for a single child. I would consider buying two sets for more than one child. Absolutely another great Melissa
