WOW! This is coffee maker is the best one I have ever owned, and I have had several of them over the many years. And it's unique design makes it look fantastic on the counter! I'd recommend it to anyone tired of buying the $19.99 Hamilton Beach junk.

In researching a replacement for my previous Krups machine (14 years old) I wanted to stay with Krups and found this little gem. Read several reviews online, people mentioning likes and dislikes and found most of the dislikes to be without merit. One in particular was a complaint of how hard it is to pour water into the reservoir : this is no harder than any other coffee maker, don't pour fast and have a steady hand is all I have to say. Another was that the 12 cup capacity was not 12 "cups" like other coffeemakers : not sure any coffeemaker uses actual cups but I checked this 12 cup versus my previous 12 cup and it was the same. In fact using the "small" button equals roughly 1 cup and large is just shy of 2 cups. In my view I love that there is no carafe to pour from, love the large/small/manual buttons and 2 large fills one of my coffee cups perfectly. Easy top rack dishwasher cleaning and overall very happy with this machine. Only had it for one month so I hope to get the same longevity from it as my previous Krups. Only con I have is that I've had to adjust the coffee for this flat filter a bit. My last was a V filter and it must pull more flavor from the beans as I've had to add more than previously calculated for my taste. Just took some experimenting with small batches to figure it out. Definitely would suggest getting a gold tone reusable filter. Over all my research this was by far the best price, most sell for $200 - $275.
It's used everyday since Christmas and so far I love it. Our Krups appliances have always lasted a long time, so we hope this one will too.
brews a great cup of coffee
I have been pricing this coffee maker all over the internet. This is a $259 coffee maker. It brews relatively quickly a good cup of coffee. I love the adjustable height so you can fill a travel mug or a pretty coffee cup. The only cons are the water level is inside the lid so its a little difficult to read and the button for a small cup of coffee literally gives you 2 ounces but the large button is fine and the manual works great too. Great buy!
My family have been using this brand for over 15 years. I was happy when I had ordered this new coffe maker. It was shipped fast with no problems. It brews good coffe, but with my first try, I have noticed some water was leaking out of it( bottom part). It only got worst. I am using Krups metal water container that is inserted inside the coffe maker, to add water. As soon as water in, coffee maker stars to leak water out( about 6 oz). Within 3 days, option of a having large amount of coffe dispending automatically , started to add only 4 oz instead of 8oz( basically changed itself to a small amount). I love flavor and consistency of the brewing coffe. I hope I can replace my coffe maker to one, that actually works without problems.
