This was exactly what we thought it was going to be. It is easy to use, and clean. So far, we like it.
Love using this product, since getting this have found only 1 thing I do not like, its the small knob for spinning. Its hard to get a hold of but once it starts spinning it works fine. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a salad spinner.
It's a salad spinner! I dont know what else to say besides the fact that it works great and def. meets my expectations. The bowl is great for serving salad in and has a rubber lining on the bottom for a more secure hold on the table. Looks great and would def. recommend this to a friend. The only thing that bothers me with it is that it does make a little bit of sound when your spinning... other than that its good :D
This appliance is great! No different than a washing machine except it is for vegetables. You load the container with veggies, rinse them thoroughly and then turn the hand crank to spin out the water from the refraining basket. Now you have clean food and you can pour the water on a plant!
I purchased this salad spinner based on the reviews that I read here. Everyone else seemed pretty pleased with this particular model and so am I! It doubles as a serving bowl and it's very large. Being able to quickly dry lettuce means that I'll eat it more often, hopefully translating into healthier eating habits.
Now that I have this product I make salad for three to four days wash it and then seal a big bag for the rest of the week,before the salad always had a lot of water and would go bad within the next day,this product will spin most of the water out and it stays fresh longer.its a wonderfull bowl for salad and fruits to go on the table.I do have to say its a bit expensive for the purpose.
I got the salad spinner for my wife for Christmas. It works great. For health reasons we use lite salad dressing. When it is spun dry the lite dressings stays on the salad like regular dressing!
This is the third salad spinner that I have purchased. The first one was rather expensive and had a push type mechanism with an attached spring. Well, after about six months the spring and bowl separated and flew across my kitchen! The second one had a knob that was very hard to trurn as I have poor strength in my hands. This one has a lever that works well though SEEMS a bit unstable. It is worth the money and appears to work fine for now. I also respect the Ecko name and have bought their products for years.
Great product, cruddy handle. Broke off after two months of frequent use. Too bad.
This is a poorly made , plastic kitchen tool. The handle is attached with a small ,wire looking hinge.The small handle folds down into the lid. It will never last more than a few uses. The lid is made from cheap plastic. But it did spin very fast. No way to run water in as you wash . We used it twice and were not happy with the way it spun the water off the salad. I truly wonder if a good salad spinner exist! It cost about $23 delivered. This should be a $6-$8 store item. You can just tell after one use that you made a mistake in this purchase. I found it when shopping on the Amazon web site then searched for it on Walmart.com. It is not a store item. The smartest thing I did was to buy from Wal-Mart so I could return. I buy from Wal-Mart even if the price is not the cheapest because of the 100% customer satisfaction guarantee!
