Shallow enough to fit snug against the wall without obstructing the flow of the room, and every bit as attractive as pictured. Managed to assemble it in an hour, even after putting some parts on backwards initially... Tried it with one can of fuel the first time, knowing it would not be to full effect, but was pleased anyway. Didn't notice a lot of odor or fumes as some have mentioned, and only need a better way to put the lid back on the flaming can to be at 100% functionality. I would like a second one of these in another room, if the fuel was less expensive.
I looked around for 6 months before I saw this and purchased it. I love it so much. It took me about 45 minutes to put it together and that was only because I put a piece on backwards! Its so nice! The picture does not do it justice at all. It has so much more detail than the picture leads you to believe. It's unique and has a french country look to it! I don't have one bad thing to say about this. Everyone who sees it in my home comments about it and asks where I got it. When I tell them Walmart.com and that I put it together myself they are stunned!
I looked around for months before finding this fireplace on the walmart web site. The price was unbeatable and the quality is fantastic.. It gave the finishing touch to my living room. All I can say is its a love love love... Thanks Walmart!!!!
I was seeking a white fireplace, mainly for looks, to add to my beach decor. This fireplace is perfect and very affordable. Very easy to put together. I haven't been able to use it yet but, I love it just the same. The only downfall, I was unable to find the gel fuel at Walmart.
I bought this to add some elegance to my french country bedroom. It really added one of the best finishing touches. Looks like a small built in. Assembles easily. Shipped quickly and got here in great condition. I have not tried the fuel gel since spring is beginning. I purchased it more for design than warmth. It is very pretty and I was extremely pleased with it.
