The most quiet one

This one has the most comforting quiet sound of all. I have purchased and returned 4 other ceramic space heaters because I was annoyed by their sound. As an engineer I like to inform people that when it comes to heat output and efficiency - ALL space heaters (1500 watts) HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME HEAT OUTPUT - wether they cost $14 or $ 1500 !! The only difference is the comfort like sound, looks and speed of startup. Fan-blown heaters start instantly and shutoff instantly while oil filled heaters take a few minutes to heat up but stay a few minutes longer warm when switched off. Some emit more concentrated radiant heat which you feel like the sun while others move more the air circulation through fans. Regardless of what type, they all put out the same amount of heat into the room for the same cost of electricity! I see a lot of people being fooled by "low cost efficient heater" advertisements. A quart of milk is not more or less depending on the shape of the bottle it comes in just like a pound of stones is as heavy as a pound of feathers. In electricity space heaters are rated 1500 watts (that is the max output allowed) and a hairdryer will heat the room up as efficiently as a "special patented energy saving 5 star rated super heater". The only difference to choose from is the comfort level in looks, sound and air-circulation. ALL electric space heaters have a 100% EFFICIENCY no matter what model or price! For example a small heater (like a hair dryer) tend to be more noisy because it has to move the air at a higher velocity than a large tower heater where the fan velocity can be low and quiet; but the heat/electric cost are the same! COST: if your electricity cost 12 cents/ KWh then ANY space heater (1500 Watts) will cost 18 cents per 1 hour of operation and puts out 5200 BTU of heat into the room. A good feature to look for might be a timer for on/off and a thermostat which helps maintain a certain temperature. This model does not have this features - but for that price this is too much to ask.
