Just as good as the lead rice brand (that is always sold out online). Very tasty and flavorful. Great price
I often travel by car so I cook by myself. And I bought this rice with me, the compact bag is very convenient, easy to cook and delicious. Good product.
This was the first time I had ever tried to use Jasmine Rice. I read the directions on the package, though I have a rice cooker that does one cup of rice = one cup of water. So I followed the directions of my rice cooker. I did not add any salt nor any oil. It cooked perfectly and tasted exactly like what you would get from an asian restaurant. So I am very pleased. I feel that the rice was overpriced... but... the quality and taste is great. Also, the package comes with like a ziploc zipper, so you don't have to tape it back or put it in an airtight container. Which I thought was cool.
I love this rice. If the store is out I will not buy anything else. I will go to another store or keep checking to see when restocked. <3
I really like Jasmine rice. It is more moist than regular rice and it doesn't bother my stomach the way regular rice can. Not crazy about having to rinse this brand off though before you can cook it.
My wife and I have quickly become addicted to this Rice, I purchased it from the store and its now a staple in our home. We love eating it with a raspberry chipotle sauce (which is also great with pork and chicken) value gets 4/5 because its a bit more expensive in the 5lb bag which is expected compared to the 25 lb bag. and 5/5 for expectations. expect about 12 cups of dry rice from this bag. I also found I needed a little more water than the 1 1/2 cup in the cooking instructions.
You should have substitute another item of the same price not more
This brand Golden Dragon was worst jasmine i've ever cooked with, rice turns spoty dots on many of the rice!? Was it some typo of mold/ disease? Very unappetizing and not even fragrant after hrs of toasting in oven!! Not wasting money and electricity bill on this awful brand!
i did not even receive this. my stomach does not do well with Jasmine rice if the original request was not available there are other types of Japanese rice available in the store I used to go to the store and no there are other items comparable to the California Rose rice it does not need to be substituted with a different rice from a different country.
This is the worst product I've ever purchased from Walmart. My rice came with so many bugs I actually had to throw the entire bag away. I will never be buying rice at Walmart ever again
