I researched different lts options and I found Augason Farms to be the best deal... That's compared to E foods direct and Mountain House. I plan on buying another 2 cases of it w/i the month. It shipped w/i a day and received in 4. Better prepare people, b/c the economy IS/WILL collapse in the coming months. It's a matter of when they're going to pull the plug. It's mathematically impossible to reverse the damage that has been done! Stock up on water too. Check Craigslist for water barrels. They are usually around $10-15 per 55gal drum.
I haven't opened any of the cans yet, as they are part of our long term storage. I did a lot of research before I purchased and found they got really good reviews. I am happy with the variety in the pack.... Well worth the money!
Came as advertised. Great value for the money. Showed up in three (3) boxes, one (1) can was dented, all others were perfect. Its for emergencies so I cannot comment on taste.
I ordered May 12, and my order was shipped on May 13, which is Amazing, as there is a high demand for these products right now. My shipment arrived in perfect condition, with zero damage, not even dented boxes. Auguson from Sams was the best value compared with several other companies, however, to get me to order ALL of my freeze dried/dehydrated items from Sams/Auguson would be a set shipping price. Other companies are set at $5 or $15. I paid $90 here, which made me jump through hoops to price check, and caused me to order half of what I wanted from another company.
This company I have ordered from before and their food and service are right on for the money I feel like I am getting a deal even though its priced right its still ton end for us,..I am glad there is a company that know good food at a fair price.
Excellent product. Wal-Mart has the best price over five other sellers. I have previously purchased Augason Farms products from WM. Excellent ! Always the best price !
Haven't tried anything from this order but, I have tried some of Augason Farms products before and they are great tasting. Bought the package deal on sale as I do with most of their products and now have a modest just in case emergency back up food supply, Thanks Sam's Club and Aug Farms. Grab them while they are available and forget it, you just know they are there when and if you ever need 'em. Oh, some products have only a 10 year shelf life, so keep in mind and use them as time marches on...
Got this on sale (1 day sale only). Lucky. It was a sweet deal. Wonderful product. Haven't found any that taste bad yet! Recommend.
Not the best freeze dried food out there but for the price it gets the job done! I bring a little with me for camping but most of it will be saved for days/months that it will be needed.
Was delivered on time and with no damaged cans, which I've experienced with other suppliers. I don't plan to open these at this time since they are a part of my emergency supply, but I have purchased quite a bit of Augason Farms products that I did open and use and have been very happy with the taste, appearance and overall quality. There is usually a significant difference in price between buying Augason Farms products directly from Augason Farms and buying the same product from Walmart, with Walmart having the lowest price. Augason also takes a LONG time to ship an order while Walmart ships quickly. The only negative, and reason I didn't give an excellent rating is that the size of these #10 cans is misleading relative to the amount of product actually in the can. Many of the Augason Farms products are packaged in the larger can when the actual contents would easily fit into a can 1/2 or even 1/3 the size.
