Ordered this product for a large family - it arrived in a timely manner and the container can be re-used for other uses or to hold the future purchases of sugar. Will definitely consider ordering again in the future.
There is no difference between this sugar and the store brands...It is not as fine a crystal, but can be used any time a recipe calls for sugar...The container keeps it fresh...Although, the container is very hard to open if you do not have an opener designed especially for these type of lids; and is available on Walmart.Com. under the Emergency Food section.
great item to have for emergency
I got this because I live 1.5 hours from the nearest grocery store. It was becoming an issue that I would run out of sugar often before my monthly trip back to town. This was delivered to my house. The bucket stores well. The sugar seems fresher that the boxed or bagged ones from the grocery store. I add oxygen observers to keep it fresh. I'm very happy with it.
Always good to have ample supply of sugar on hand.Good for 30yrs.
It's for emergency stockpile-I'm glad that I will have it-if I ever need it
I do a lot baking and this was great
Great Company, Excellent Product, Stackable Bucket, and Fast Shipping-What more could you ask for.
Purchased for long term food storage will see if is still good when I need it
Ordered two of these for emergency supplies. They were on my porch in about a week. I opened the boxes to find one bucket had opened during transit and about a pound of sugar in the bottom of the box. Plus whatever spilled out of the box. I will be taking what's left and sealing in cans or Mylar now that I know that the bucket seal is useless on both buckets.
