We bought this to connect our 2-burner camping propane grill to a big propane gas tank (instead of using the little propane tanks). It worked wonderfully. Would definitely recommend getting the 8-ft. hose and not the shorter one.
I bought my portable BBQ at a home improvement store and purchased a hose there, too. But the hose didn't work,so took it back and got another (same CharBroil brand - the only brand they carry). Still didn't let the propane flow. Turns out Lowes carries the same kind and it just won't let the gas flow. This one from Walmart is great - good price, longer for easy use out camping with the trailer propane tanks and it shipped to my home for $2. Highly recommend you try if your gas BBQ seems sluggish.

I purchased a new portable/tabletop grill which uses those small propane cylinders that plumbers use. Now I can use the standard big tank and it will last a lot longer. Material of the hose is ruggid so you can use it for outdoors in camping, and RV.
Works great with my Coleman Road Trip Pro LXE grill. Nice long length allows you to put the propane tank virtually anywhere.
This hose is built well, with solid connectors. You can connect any gas appliance that uses small one pound (or smaller) propane bottles.
8 ft hose keeps tank away from flame/heat. durability is avg because it's just like hoses on a gas grill: rubber. if it was woven metal it would be more durable. however, it's alot cheaper than woven metal. it's fine for my purposes.
I purchased this to extend the connection of my propane tanks to my grill or heaters when camping. Quality is good. Definitely would recommend!
This is exactly what it claims. Good quality and fits all modern 20# tanks. Type 1 is standard outside thread.
The hose hooks up my 20 pound LP tank to my Weber Performer Grill just fine but the hose leaks at the hook up of the tank. Is it the tank? Probably not but could be. Turn tank off & on each time you use it and keep it away from flames.
