Product was not as advertised. The product I received has to be lit with a match or lighter. the one advertised stated it had a self striking attachment.
We took this heater on my son's first cub scout camping trip. We had the warmest tent. We ran this heater for about 45 min before we hit the sack and we were toasty warm until about 3 AM when a train woke us up. Ran the heater an additional 20 minutes and slept until breakfast. Freezer bag omlets are the best.
This was half the price than other "golf shops" and was exactly the same except for the ignition button is not there...you have to light it with lighter.
THIS HEATER IS GOOD FOR THE PRICE, BUT NOT THE RIGHT LISTING FOR THE PRODUCT. HEATER DOES NOT HAVE AN ELECTRONIC IGNITION, BUT A MATCHLIGHT. IT IS A 3000 BTU/HOUR INSTEAD OF THE LISTED 1500, AND ONLY RUNS FOR 7 HOURS NOT 14. HEATER DOES NOT HAVE AN INTEGRATED HANDLE. THE PICTURE ON THE BOX AND THE PRICE ARE THE SAME, BUT THE PRODUCT IN THE FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS IS NOT. I CALLED COLEMAN AND THEY ONLY MADE THE 5029B805 FOR WALMART, AND NEVER MADE THAT MODEL AS AN ELECTRONIC START. USE CAUTION WHEN ORDERING UNLESS YOU WANT SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
I was led to beleive that the golf cart heater I bought had a matchless light comtrol and when I got it home I found I need to use a match, and I find this hard to do.
Took heater camping in the desert. Used heater at night in tent when temps reached 30-40 range. My tent is a 3 person tent and the heater did not even make the air a little warmer. Unless you stick your hands or face next to it you wont feel the heat. Save your money and just buy and extra blanket. I will be returning this item.
