Witch Hazel is a staple in our home. Great as an astringent and wonderful to put on insect bites or skinned knees. It is soothing without any stinging.
I received this product complementary to write my honest opinion. The product is very good for those who suffer from acne. It really helps control oiy skin. I have only used this on my t zone and it made a diffrence. They also have other products for more sentitive skin that I will look into but, if you have oily skin and acne, this is for you!
I've used this product for years and have a spray bottle filled that I can use quickly throughout the day to freshen my face. It is a great cleanser and leaves my skin fresh and soft. I'm 85 and have been told regularly I look much younger than my age.
I have always bought the Dickinson's regular witch hazel but I really like this one the deep cleaning one it really does have a fresh smell kind of like Seabreeze but a more natural and it seems to do the trick getting Foundation and oils out of your skin I really like it!
I found this very refreshing and gentle on my face. It has a mild, fresh fragrance. I use it in the winter, but I think it will feel especially great in summer when it's hot. I love Dickinson's witch hazel. I also use the original and rosewater toner, they're great too.
This was my first time trying this version of Dickinson's Witch Hazel. I love the other versions and so I gave this a try. It does very well at deep cleaning my face and neck. I have acne and this has improved my skin and helped clear up a lot of the acne. I was very happily surprised by that, I didn't expect to see actual results. Using a cotton ball and thoroughly applying to my face, it cleans and slightly tightens and so it does require some type of moisturizing afterwards. After I added this to my daily regiment for just over a week now, my face is much clearer. I really love a cheap and natural fix! It's fresh and clean smelling too.
This astringent was sent to me for review purposes from influenster. That being said, i still really loved this product. It did an amazing job at cleaning my face and left it feeling super clean and refreshed after.
This is one of my favorites. It helps with oily skin and helps me from breaking out I apply this twice a day to my face in the morning and at night after getting out of shower. Then I apply a moisture to my face. It makes my skin feel so smooth and clear from breakouts
overall its a decent product. It definitely did feel refreshing and showed quick results after first use. However its mandatory to use moisturizer after using such products like this or you will quickly dry your skin out worsening it. When you used properly in a skin regimen its good!
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I have been using Dickinson's Deep Cleansing Toner and Exfoliating Pads for close to a month now and it is just ok. It smells horrible and even if the smell lingers just for a few seconds I am not a fan — I want my skin care routine to be relaxing and the smell just throws me off. Aside from the smell it is very gentle (no stinging or lingering alcohol feeling) so I would recommend this for someone with sensitive skin or those who can't handle fragrance. I have combo skin and this didn't really do much for me. I'm thinking this can also be good for tweeners/teenagers who are just starting their skin care routine. I did a comparison with my other astringents and this is the “weakest” and removed the least amount of left over dirt so for “deep cleansing” this is a fail. Overall, it's ok especially for the price but I definitely would not be buying this and the likelihood of me recommending this to others is pretty low.
