As a mom of one with another on the way this set of scent balms exactly capture my two needs. The need to relax and unwind and the need for a energy boost! Both balms are great, I especially love the Rest Balm, made with lavender oil it smells amazing. I like to roll it on my wrist, close my eyes and slowly inhale the scent. It helps me clear my mind, take a step back and relax in the moments. The Rise Balm is made with Ginger and Grapefruit which helps not only energize but also helps with nausea and when I just don't feel myself. I love the size and how easy these are for on the go. I definitely see myself continuing to use both of these balms post pregnancy and beyond! I received this product in exchange for my honest feedback. All opinions are my own.
The fragrance in both of these is really pleasant and I have been using them daily. I love them and would definitely recommend to other mamas, even in postpartum.
Love these natural balms so much! The purple one is so calming and pleasant. Helps me to unwind after a long day with the kids. The pink one is great for a little boost of energy throughout the day. Very light scent that isn't overpowering. Recommend to any new or expecting mama looking for something a little special.
These little sticks are great! They fit in my pocket so I can do a little mindless pick me up during the day. I love the scents.
I was having trouble sleeping throughout my second trimester and was waking up throughout the night for several hours. When I tried the rest balm, I immediately noticed a difference in my sleep. Quick application on my temples before bed and I was able to sleep through the night! Highly recommend because it works so well and easy to use. I received this program in exchange for my review.
Milkmakers Rest + Rise Prenatal Wellness Balms helps in increasing the energy and lessen the nausea. It is formulated with shea butter and jojoba oil. This pack of Milkmakers Rest + Rise Prenatal Wellness Balms consist of 2 balms. Lavender balm and Grapefruit Ginger balm. The lavender balm helps in relaxing and resting . The Grapefruit ginger balm helps in easing the nausea and gives energy to rise. These balms worked just fine for me. As in my pregnancy nausea didn't end until I delivered the baby. So these calm helped me a bit. I am not a dlfan of essential oil but these balm has light and not irritating smell of essential oil. I would recommend other mama's to try it out if you want some rest and energy . A good gift for baby showers. You have got this mamas!!! I received this product in exchange for my honest feedback.
I'm now in my third trimester, but really struggled with nausea in my first trimester and sensitivity to smells through my second semester too. Unfortunately, the smell of the ginger in Rise is overpowering to me. I really like the lavender scent though! It goes on smoothly and is so convenient for keeping by the bed or tossing in my bag!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall these smelled nice but they were honestly too faint to notice once I put them on. Maybe that's the point for those experiencing nausea but at my 3rd trimester I was already past smell intolerance.
I understand the intent of these balms. To provide a little self-care for mommas or mommas-to-be! Pregnancy and motherhood is hard work! But what is the impact of these balms? Are they effective? I think it depends on how "into" essential oils you are. The night-time one smells really nice. I dont know if it is pregnancy or what, but I cannot smell the day-time balm. And the package says to put on pressure points.... but I dont know where those are. I would recommend that the packaging also include a little pamphlet on where to put the balm. I needed up using the night time balm more (because of the smell) and put it on as if putting on perfume. I will continue to use the products in my own way. Maybe after my son is born I will be able to smell the day-time balm! I received this product in exchange for my honest feedback
