Although expensive, have peace of mind knowing it's made of “Bobby approved” all natural products. Doesn't hold up against extreme temperatures, but is an excellent alternative to aluminum based products. Definitely recommend.
I really like the fact that it doesn't make all the duds go away once washed off with a hand towel and soap. I really like it alot. I don't understand why my local Walmart doesn't carry it anymore.
My husband really likes this deodorant! The pine tar scent smells great and sticks well. Since it is more natural ingredients it doesn't prevent sweating (not antiperspirant) but he doesn't mind too much about that. I like that it doesn't have the typical aluminium ingredient other deodorants usually have.
I decided to go with deodorant good for you . This smells good
I only wear this now. No need for old school pit stick that actually makes you smell worse by the end of the day. Try a stick of this out. Definitely worth it.
I have nothing bad to say of Dr. Squatch, I've been using this product for months now. The soap leaves my skin smooth %26 hydrated, the deodorant works great for me as well no more irritation or redness.
PROS: Scent: It smells good. I had friends compliment me on the smell of it. Durable/Lasting: It last me all day. I sweat a lot naturally. I also workout towards the end of the day. That’s when it starts wearing off because I can smell my pits starting to reek. CONS: Sweat-wise: It’s not effective in stopping sweat. It can feel and see the sweat stains. I doesn’t bother me but may not be for those who care more about appearance. Feeling/Application: The deodorant is a gray/blueish color. When applying, it feels like a paste and lingers for a few minutes. Appearance: When applying, it leaves like a white/gray residue and clumps up my armpit hair. It is noticeable when wearing tank tops where my armpits are showing.
Like the pine tar fragrance...but you certainly pay for it. Double the price of what I used to get, but Walmart's price is better. Dr. Squatch web site wants to push bundles...and I only want one fragrance. So, getting exactly what I want is what makes Walmart a better option
Pros: • smells great • aluminum free (if you care about that) Cons: • beware of wearing sleeveless shirts/tank tops/going shirtless as you may stain other things if you lean on them with your underarms exposed. For example, I used this deodorant while on a cruise and I tucked my pillow under my arms while watching tv one night and accidentally left the white pillow stained with the dark grey deodorant. That being said, you might also stain your t-shirts depending on what color they are. • my body might still be adjusting to this deodorant, but I feel I start smelling sooner than I used to with my previous deodorant Overall, it's a healthier option due to it being aluminum free and it smells really good. I might continue using once I test out another aluminum-free option and compare.
I like the scent of this deodorant. I don't have a strong odor when I don't wear any deodorant, but this doesn't change it much. I have not tried many other natural deodorants to compare it to. But I still slightly smell at the end of the day in Florida summer, plus I can only barely smell the good scent by the end of the day. Maybe different body chemistries are different, because my friend swears by this brand and even this scent, after she had given up on natural deodorant altogether. So it's worth a shot for others.
