This review might make me seem like I'm a dummy but here I go anyway I bought a passport max 360 back in 2012 it still works but I wasn't sure if it was still as good as advertised so for my birthday I pulled the trigger on a new one with the dash cam. I use both of them on the way in to work which 370 miles from home they both perform great my 2012 is almost as good as my 2020 the 2020 has directional alerts, less false ka bands( not by much), and a brighter screen but the old max stills works great after all the years I highly recommend this radar detector it is one of the best you can buy.

Installed this in our 2020 Buick Enclave. Very easy to configure and set up - like that we can also monitor on smart phones. I previously had a Uniden radar detector, but so far, this one has not "picked up" all the false alerts that Uniden did (automatic doors at retailers). Very pleased with product, very compact and unobtrusive. Highly recommend.
Overall geat product and service. Upgraded from my MaxII to the Max360c and love it. Paired it up with the M1 cam but could have improvements. Need if you are not careful when removing the radar itself, you are at risk of tearing off the power cable on the M1 cam. Since the M1 cam is attached to the mount unit, you will need to remove the entire mount to store for safe keeping and not risk losing other bits and pieces. The quality of the recording could be better for 1080p with higher frames. For the price of the cam, I could go with a GoPro 6 or 7 for the same cost and get better stablized footage. But that would require extra mounts and bulkiness so Im refraining from doing so.
I bought this combo deal (Escort Max 360c & M1 dash cam) this month, and it is one of the best radar/laser detectors out there currently. It replaces my Beltronics GT-7, which is now used in my older second vehicle. This newer Escort with the dashcam is perfect in my newer vehicle. All set up and used just once so far. The dashcam video quality isn’t bad. Overall happy with my purchase. I have been a loyal Beltronics radar detector user for years, now it’s Escort.
A great combo package. Camera works great with the radar detector. tHE DESIGN IS PERFECT. Just wish Escort would make a rear view mirror mount since I rely on my sunshade and really don't like removing the suction cup each time. Over all for the money it's a great product and so far I have not received any speeding tickets. Performance wise both items work fantastic and very easy to install. I shopped around looking at the other items out there and was very please to find this combo package.
I enjoyed my 9500ix which worked very well for me and I am looking forward to this new setup. I am still getting to know it but it seems to have some nice features that will enhance my driving experience. The initial setup was fairly easy and it appears to be working well. I am hoping that the quality is as good as the 9500ix which never gave me any problems. The only thing I have to get used to is the green flashing light on the M1, it's kind of distracting. I wish it would stay a solid green when recording and flash to let you know when it isn't.
Setup is easy. Distance is good. Performance is great. The install is easy, it’s more time consuming compared to my Max II. There is about a one second delay with the directional arrows when an alert happens. M1 App was confusing at first, it still seems outdated.
Just opened my Max 360 gold package box with an M1 dash cam and was extremely disappointed to see I cannot quick disconnect the radar detector and dash cam without pulling the whole assembly off the windshield or disconnecting the dash cam from the detector and leaving the dash cam on the windshield - stupid. My previous detector easily disconnected so I could get it out of the sun while at work but more importantly it keeps it out of view of thieves. I sincerely hope escort will redesign and send a corrected mount to customers that lay out $800 plus for this product. My assumption is the detector will work well but I’m really disappointed that escort got something so simple-so wrong.
I like the detector itself that works very efficient. It gave me warning ahead of time and it's very accurate. The problem is I don't have wi-fi in my car and I could not connected using my blue tooth on one of my phone as it couldn't find the detector to connect it to. It keep searching and searching, so I gave up. So I have to use my second phone to connect it to but then I could not connect this one to my wi-fi at home even I use the right user name and password. I gave up and finally I have to use usb cable to connect to my computer to update photo radar. I don't know why these things happened to these phones. I have emailed the technical support people but have not heard anything back from them at all. Poor customer relationships. So if any one know how to solve these issues please help me as I cannot depend on the supporting group from Escort. They just wanted to sell their products and that's it. Even I called them, she didn't know what she was talking about. She is not technical support but act as technical support and told me the wrong thing as it didn't work. She told me to turn off the blue tooth on the other phone so I can connect the detector to another phone. The fact is I turned off the other phone entirely, but still not connecting. Poor service.
