I bought this microwave in Houston, Texas in 2003 (14 years ago). I took it along with me when I moved to Michigan. Though with some rust, it is still as effective as the day I purchased it.
Had this microwave for 13 yrs. It has always worked great. Still working, but has rusted through. Would buy another if I could
I bought this microwave when I got my first apartment at age 17...I am now 30 and it is just now starting to not warm up my food as good as it used to! I have had this microwave for almost 15 years with no problems! It's a die hard!
How do I mute all the sounds? I love this microwave, had it since 2003. Actually it has been passed down the family and now I have it. But it seems I'm the only one super annoyed at all the beeping sounds. Please help.
I bought two of these JES738WH - 700 watt microwave ovens. One in 2003 and regretfully gave to a friend. And this 2005 one, I've had now 18 years and works like new. My only complaint about this 2005 model is that it has a laser like beam that heats dead center of the turntable, which makes it worthless to have a turntable. The 2003 model heated more evenly and didn't burn the popcorn. Go figure. Over time, I just watch it while cooking and don't have a problem. Good little machine.
The Microwave died after about nine months of use it dies in sept 14
