We had this on a recent backpacking trip with some Scouts. Easy to make and it was very tasty. The Scouts wanted to know where I got it. They really loved it.
I bought this because my daughter is allergic to black pepper - do you know how many prepared foods have black pepper!? Compared to other freeze dried, we both found this to be an excellent dinner and it's really healthy for backpacking!
I prepared it for dinner at home because I wanted something quick with little to no clean up. Restaurant quality taste. Recommend keeping on hand not just for emergencies but when you want a good meal w/o the hassle
Almost every single Mountain House dinner has been amazing. This Teriyaki Chicken is great. Even with somewhat questionable water out of a filter it tastes great. Just don't rush the wait time unless you like chewy rice.
I use this product for my fishing trips. This flavor is in particular my favorite among all. If you like sweet and sour food, this should be your choice.
I was looking forward to Mountain House having some items back in stock! I knew early on during these difficult times that some of their options wouldn’t be available due to their quality and longevity. But as could be expected because of the quality of their products there wasnt much available at the onset. That continues to change as they have been diligently preparing more products for us to enjoy! Thankfor ful the Chicken Teriyaki as it is always one of my favorites. But I also have to say I have really enjoyed the Pasta Primavera! I will continue to try other items as they become available! Great for hiking, camping... or even a little social distancing!
I've been testing different meals for hiking and the Chicken Teriaki is one of the best. The flavor is delicious and the texture perfect. I love Mountain House meals and the Chicken Teriyaki is at the top of my list.
I bought the chicken teriyaki due to limited product availability. It’s ok, obviously will do in a pinch but not my favorite. The beef stroganoff and chicken with noodles are more to my liking.
Had this meal on a recent backpacking trip to the Grand Canyon. Was quite tasty but the noodles were crunchy in spite of hydrating the required time.
It needs doctoring, with a goodly-amount of added bottled-minced-garlic, bottled-minced-ginger, & light-brown-sugar, and a modicum, of seasoned-salt, and ground-black-pepper .
