Near East Couscous Mix, Parmesan, is a quick and easy side dish to prepare. The couscous is light and fluffy and the amount of Parmesan flavor is balanced well. I find this to be a nice alternative to rice or potatoes as a side dish.
This cous cous is really tasty. It's quick to prepare and delish, I highly recommend it. I often pair it with blackened salmon and asparagus.
Very tasty on its own but can be used under a casserole/crock pot dish (like mashed potatoes) as it soaks up the juices. Great for lunch box too eaten hot or cold and topped with peppers, onions, squash, tomatoes, cucumber.
I have purchased this product before. This is however the first time I have had it shipped. I ordered multiples. They arrived in excellent condition. I do like this couscous.

Prefer these over the pearl cous cous which are like tapioca balls. These are smaller grains and the kids love it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
A little salty. Ver easy to prepare and is ready quickly. I soaked the couscous in cold temperature water for 20 minutes instead of hot water and it worked fine.
Near East products are great but am very disappointed by Walmart shipping. One box split open during shipping, spilling couscous over the other items. So 1 out of 3 boxes purchased was unusable and creating a huge mess.
Had no flavor was very dry so gave to my neighbor she love it all 4 boxes
