I skipped step one and step two! I cut down amount of cigs to half and smoked .1 mg nicotine cigs. Got my body used to those for a few months and directly went to the 7mg patches. I am a non smoker now after 45 years! Cravings were very mild.
I smoked for 53 years. I finally decided I should quit! I used the nicoderm system, stepping down with my nicotine intake and it was a complete success. When I got the urge whether it helped or not, I would rub the patch. what I did not like about the patch was the patch itself would adhere itself to the inside of the pouch. This situation caused me to lose three to four patches. I also found it very difficult to open the nicotine patch envelope.
The Nicoderm 3-step program to stop smoking is the only thing I have had success with. I am almost 5-weeks as a non-smoker and am so happy. I really didn't think I would ever be able to quit but using this system was the absolute best. No side effects or withdrawals.
This product worth every penny!
The patches have been the only thing that helps me quit smoking. The step 3 is small and sticks on well.
A great product to help quit smoking, or in my case vaping. It definitely helps control the nicotine cravings. It says on well when showering or swimming. Love that the patch is clear so its not really noticeable. Definetly worth the money.

Your patches are the ONLY way I can quit smoking. However, I am allergic to the adhesive now. I have blotches all over where the patch was placed. I had to stop using them. I really want to quit!!! Do you have sensitive skin patches for us who get these rashes? If not, why!!

I used Equate for step 1 and 2 which worked well. But Walmart did not have Equate step 3 so I bought NicoDerm. Turned out to be a mistake for me. My desire to smoke went way up and I kept thinking about it. I stopped using the NicoDerm after a week and the urge became less.
