It has a high concentration of saturated fats that are good for dry skin. Just warm it up people!! I have extremely dry and eczema prone skin. I use a water based moisturizer followed by this product. I scoop some into my hand and distribute and warm product using my body heat. I hold my hands over a lit candle to gently warm the product further. Then boom, a thick oil that will retain your moisture barrier throughout the day or night. Thank me later
Wasn't sure what to expect after reading reviews but this blend is wonderful! Smells great and very hydrating.
This stuff is amazing for skin and hair especially in the winter.
I see a lot of complaints on here about how the product is hard sometimes which frustrates me because thats how cocoa butter naturally behaves! I see they were all written in the winter when it is cold, so of course its hard! It hardens in the cold and softens in the heat, so if you put it next to a warm place like a heater, it will soften right up. And my experience is it will soften on your hand if you keep rubbing it. But this is the great thing about this product - no artificial ingredients that make it behave unnaturally!! If you want cocoa moisturizer thats soft all the time, then go buy one of the cheap crumby products full of artificial junk thats terrible for your skin that stays soft all the time!! Great product
The smell is wonderful. I love how it moisturizes. And I take my fingers and rub the top of the product then rub onto my skin. This in turn melts it. So I am use to this tpe of Butter Blend and I love it. It is thicker, but smooths out. It does the job wonderfully. I did not give it a 5 start, because once I start getting to the bottom of the jar it will be harder to get out. Maybe an applicator would solve the issue that people are having with the product.
The top was broken and the smell of florals was added to it which I love floral smells but the consistency isn't the same at all this item used to be a smooth texture not clumpy rock texture it is now
I LOVE all Shea Moisture products, and was excited to give this a try. Tub was rock solid, and did not melt in my hand - although it smells great. After warming it up a bit in the container I was able to get a spoonful out, but it was very grainy and difficult to rub in. Not sure how I'll be able to use this in the future, but looking forward to trying other products instead!
It's really thick and doesnt rub in to your skin. Stays solid and I used it on my dry skin for months and it didnt help what so ever. And it's very very greasy and gross feeling.
Tho product is very hard and does not melt in your hand like the description says. It kind of becomes little pieces in your hand. Not easy to work with. Worst of all there is a no return policy.
It smells sooooo good you guys but i am so disappointed , its the right amount , delicious smell but it doesnt really melt in your hand the cocoa butter blend breaks off into little pieces so it doesn't dissolve all the way like normal butters will onto your skin so it then becomes messy
