The hammered bronze color looks very rich and fits in well with our Southwestern patio. Our Yuma winter evenings can get very cool. These heaters, I bought 2 from Sam's Club, definitely make a difference. We tried another brand quartz electric heater but it was less than adequate. Assembly instructions could be better written, but if you have any mechanical ability, you shouldn't have too much trouble. Product quality appears to be very good. Model number from Sam's Club is 61885.
This is my second patio heater. I bought this one because we used our first one so much it wore out (it was not the same one as this). I had seen this one at a friend's house and new I would like it because the finish is so nice. I purchased it at Target on sale. It was very easy to put together and none of the parts were missing, which is always a plus! It worked on the first attempt and puts out a lot of heat. We spend a lot of time on the patio all year long and will be using it a lot in the colder months. I am very satisfied with this product and will purchase from this company again. Thank you!
I just love my patio heater. The parties I had were during a cool spell in Houston and all my guest were very much appreciative of patio heater. Plus it keep them outside
I bought this heater recently. The workmanship was very good and it was very well packaged. The assembly instructions were pretty good, the only area for improvement is with the pictures. They are not clear at all.
Up here in Helen GA it gets cold and this heater allows to enjoy the back porch even with snow on the ground
I bought 2 of these heaters for a family Christmas party this year. I finished assembly which was very simple and tested it out. They provide nice heat in my patio.
After some careful research, I undoubtedly bought went with FireSense! Set up was a breeze and I was sitting under warmth in minutes! The heat reflector works great! We use it on our deck for those cool nights and mornings. It's so easy to start, (with my arthritics hands) I am able to go out there and enjoy my coffee in the morning, even if for just a moment.. this heater kicks on some serious heat! This is the real deal and will need some room, so read the specifications carefully.
No real complaints other than assembly instructions lacking. But able to figure out on my own. Quality is good. Value was great due to purchase price (black friday). Have use it less than 6 times, so far. Sometimes hard to start if it windy (pilot light). Living in eastern Midwest, winters can be brutal, but this is meant for supplementing of heat and not main heat sources with temperatures below 40 degree fahrenheit, but above 30 degrees for sure. Overall satisfied with purchase.
1. The mounting holes/nutplate in the base were not properly aligned so the bolts would not screw into the nutplate. Customer Service in Florida promptly sent out a new base. 2. One of 12 cap nuts had no threads inside. This required a visit to my local hardware store for a new nut. Once I got it assembled it fired up just fine and I expect it will continue to work just fine in our eastern Washington State winter weather. But, the lack of quality control delayed the assembly and was disappointing
For the price I can not say anything bad about the product. It seems to have done the job and lasted through a season at our house, only 3 blocks from the Pacific Coast. This is not a durable unit and it does rust quickly. The old saying "you get what you pay for" is absolutely true. That said, it does the job and can last for at least a year in our SoCal climate.
