Very nice heater, heats a good amount of space without being overbearing
After 2-3 hours of use it turned black. I contacted Shoppers Choice and after 6 months of discussions with both Shoppers Choice, a Fisher Paykel representative visiting my home and paying a lawyer to intervene, I will be removing it from my home as I am afraid it will cause a fire. When the representative came he said that "It wasn't made for use in my backyard". When both my husband & myself pointed out that there was nothing on either the website nor the owners manual that specifies the proper "outdoor conditions" that the heater should be placed, Fisher Paykel changed their argument claiming it wasn't installed properly. I don't know if mine is defective but it's hard to believe that the company wouldn't stand behind the product at the risk of consumer safety. After purchasing several Fisher Paykel products this will absolutely be my last!
