Our goal was to reduce our phone bill and be able to have good service when we travel. This service is BETTER than our former AT
Much needed as for we purchased total wireless phones from Walmart whom now does not provide their service plans in store, so please do not discontinue.
This was an easy download and the service coverage is excellent because the service provider is Verizon.
My teenagers have been Total Wireless customers for about a yr now, and it's been great for them. They share the $60/mo plan, and are always accessible. They have more than enough data, and coverage is great for us. So finally my husband and I are making the switch from Straight Talk to Total Wireless in Oct. 2016. My ST service has been awful. The ONLY BAD THING about TW is the phone selection offered. It's not bad, and gets better all the time, but it'd be so nice to have a larger selection. Plus I've found in the past that just because a phone is CDMA unlocked, and you buy the proper SIM card, it doesn't mean you'll get any coverage at all. That's my current problem with ST. I have an amazing phone (bought it unlocked and put in ST CDMA SIM card), but I get NO phone service! That's why I'm going to get a new TW phone and try the 4 shared lines plan.
Works good. My teens have TW since I may restrict their phone service from time to time so I like that I can just pay monthly. They always have cell service. Not sure their Internet is the greatest but overall performs how it should.
This was an easy switch to Total Wireless; moved one phone over and bought a new phone. Service was prompt and professional and phones both worked immediately. Service seems good.
This service has worked for me and my son just as well as Verizon but this is so much cheaper. Just call # to "refill service", enter pin # & done. Talking to someone rather than automated system is aggravating if your not patient with someone with accent. Some speak better English than others. This is if you get a new phone and have to have activated or something other than just refilling service.
Hi. The price is much better than the almost $50 a month that we were paying. My son and I have the 2 lines for $60. We keep the data off except for when we need to use it and we haven't had any problems. Cz you only have 8 G to share between you. However, customer service is a nightmare. Very hard to understand them. In the end, after 3 days, we got got the service that e needed... It took 3 days cz it was so stressful the 1st day, that I couldn't even get myself to call back the next day.
It seems the longer I use Total (4 months now) the worse the service gets. Between the non working website that doesn' t update data usage to the trumped up fake data usage when it does work. Support is well known to be digusting between the lousy support connections and the thick accents that always have you wait again and again for the magic two minutes and in the end you need a seperate phone phone other than the one you called them on to get further answer's....that if their diagnostic tools are working (which they never are)...it's always a dead end. The reason their data service is so erratic is that they are low to NO priority service which means that their provider or backbone (Verizon) gets first dibs on data not you. Needless to say the tradeoff between aggrivation and money saved just isn't adding up....lord knows we all have enough aggrivation in our lives without more sub standard (junk) to clutter our minds. Problem is, in this industry this is the norm which tells me that enough of this internet scam is enough....time to move on. I could have made this review in two simple words...IT SUCKS!
Horrible I wasted 60 dollars on phone mins couldn't use the service in my area ended up returning the phones and losing my 60$ because it wasn't refundable which is not right
