I purchased this juicer from Walmart 3 years ago and we use it all the time. We have had no problems whatsoever. We love it! We juice everything from apples to oranges to grapes to kiwi to strawberries to carrots... you name it! Ours came with an extra blade, which I will put on sometime this year. We leave ours on top of our fridge for easy access. It looks like a stainless steel model is available. Ours is the original white plastic. Some helpful hints: 1. For citrus, peel the rind first, otherwise it will taste really nasty! 2. You cannot juice bananas. So we juice first and then pour the juice in the blender and add bananas and yogurt. Yum! Talk about a wonderful smoothie! 3. Put a plastic bag in the collector first. This way you can pull out the bag after use and it keeps your collector clean as a whistle. 4. Be sure to carefully clean all parts after you juice. Don't leave it sitting overnight. We just rinse with hot water and most fruit & veggie parts come off without scraping. Happy juicing!
The product works wonderfully, cleanup takes a little bit of work, but only like 5 minutes or so. The pulp that's left over is also really dry, a good sign that most of the juice is gotten out. Oh, just remember to peel cucumbers before juicing them because the wax on the outside is really really bad tasting.
I love this juicer. You can juice all kinds of fruits and don't need to de-core or peal apples before placing them in the juicer. You can reduce clean-up time by placing a plastic bag in the pulp container and throwing it away when you're done. It extracts more juice than other juicers and the pulp comes out dry. Really wonderful juicer.
okay i just got mine- had to fight with it the first time- now i have it down- I LOVE IT- been using it twice a day & will continue to use it everyday- i can't wait to use the pulp - so many things you could do with it...the juice is out-of-this-world good...not difficult to clean- rinse under hot water after use--THANKS Jack LaLanne & thanks walmart for providing it at a great price....( a lot of bonus stuff came with mine) ...very happy....(oh- & it helps to read directions first :)
this juicer is simply awesome. after juicing i put more than half of the pulp back into the juice to make a chunky smoothie and that fills me up for more than two hours. depending on what i juiced (spinach, tomatoes, carrots) i add two teaspoon of honey for sweetness. i love this juicer, it's fantastic.
I can't imagine why anyone would say a word about the cleanup after they've tasted this incredible juice! Just drop your fruits and veggies in whole and reap the benefit of the freshest, most wholesome custom made juice, chockfull of vitamins and nutrition. If you are concerned about maintaining the good health of you and your family then this is a must have!!!
This is a wonderful product, I highly recommend it. It's easy to use and you'll be amazed at how great the vegetable and fruit juice tastes and it's soooo good for you. It's totally worth it. Clean-up is not too bad, all the parts go easily into the dishwasher. I received this as a gift two years ago and I still use it weekly.
It does what it claims to do and thats give you more juice than the average juicer. The juice from it is good. Not hard to operate but hard to clean. Time consuming and a bit tricky getting it back together. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.
The only complaint I have is that some of the juicier fruits I put through it (i/e: oranges) squirt juice straight out and it can spray on you, make sure to wear an apron! Also, the tips that people write to line the pulp catcher with a bag are 100% helpful. They save you some cleanup time and hassle. Happy Juicing!
The product does what it says it will do, well at least from the commercials. But what they don't tell you is about all the froth that will be on top of the juice. That's the most hassling part ...separating the froth from the juice. You will definitely have to get a strainer - or they should start including one.
