Took about 1.5 hours to put together. No pictures. But what a beautiful fireplace! I love it and the price is unbelievable for the quality of the wood. You will not be sorry with this one. And the best part, it does come with it's own fire screen. I really shopped around and this is the best!
I bought this for our house for my boyfriend's birthday. The price was really, really good. I found the same exact fireplace at other websites for about $300 more. The only downside is that the gel fuel you have to use is really expensive so we don't use it that much. If you are looking for a decorative piece and only want to use it once in a while, then it's perfect. Otherwise, spend the extra $400 and go with an electric fireplace if you want to use it more often and/or use it for heating.
Very heavy boxes. It was missing hardware (nuts/bolts/etc) when it arrived. The maker of the fireplace was SO courteous, and immediately got them in the mail. No phone wait either. I think it is real wood, and looks lovely. I love the ventless feature that allows me to have a fireplace in my apartment. Smores are ready.
Assembly was easy and the toll free number to speak with a rep to help with any problems was great. Too bad I didn't upload a picture but the fireplace looks great and the wood isn't cheap looking, which is another plus....
