I do take other sleep aides and this is perfect
I dont have to use this very often, but when I do, it helps me fall asleep and easily go back to sleep should I wake up. I like that it doesn't make me feel groggy the next day.
I sleep all night after taking them
ZQuil is an excellent temporary sleep medication. I say temporary because I don't take them nightly just when I am having trouble falling asleep. I take 2 gel caps 30 minutes before going to bed and before I know it I have drifted off to a peaceful night sleep, but what I like about ZQuil is the fact you dont feel the drowsy affects the next day.
Unlike some reviewers this sleep aid didn't work immediately for me. I also woke up two hours after going to bed and again a bit over six hours after going to bed. I went back to sleep I would say within 10-15 minutes both times that I woke up. I got up just after 6:30 and I feel wonderful. This was the best night's sleep I've had in months. I know that Vicks ZzzQuil is said not to be addictive, but like most OTC sleep aids it will become less helpful as my body gets use to it and I most definitely will not take a larger dose. So I've ordered some lavender %26 melatonin infused body scrub and some lavender spray. I really like lavender so I am going to see if these two products will help me sleep better so that I only use the Vicks Zzz Sleep Aid occasionally.
They have help me, I dont have trouble falling asleep I only sleep for 2 to 3 hours at a time, these have helped and I do not have any hang over type feelings
I think the product has changed. Use to relax me sooner and help me sleep.
Recently changed shifts at work, so I purchased this to help me adjust. I can't say it works for certain because I'm tired after work and I rarely have issues falling asleep. Really hoped this could help me sleep for at least 7 hours. Nevertheless, I wake after 3 or 5 hours. Per directions, you can only take the meds every 24 hours, so it's not like I could pop another pill and try to fall asleep again. I will continue using until I finish the pack, but I will not purchase again.
Supposed to be 24 capsules in the box. As it says on the outside of the box. Theres only 12 in it
Does not work, same active ingredient as Bendryl so it "may cause drowsiness" but its not strong enough to be a sleep aid.
