My husband swears by this medicine. He has tried about every kind of heartburn medicine out there and says this is the best. He used to have heartburn multiple times every day, but taking this every day, he very rarely gets heartburn now. I would definitely recommend it.
This is THE best OTC product out there. Severe reflux managed with one capsule a day.
I changed from taking Prilosec to Zegerid OTC because of sodium bicarbonate being added to the omeprazole in the capsule. This has made a huge difference for me especially at night when I used to experience reflux periodically while I was taking Prilosec. Now the reflux attacks are greatly reduced. I believe the addition of the sodium bicarbonate has made the difference for me.
Walmart must be pushing a different newer product in our local stores because I had to once again resort to purchasing my USUAL store shopping list items online.
Seems to work the best for me.Works and lasts all day.Better than just omeprazole by itself.Take every day.
I have been taking this for awhile now and it's the best heartburn medicine I have ever taken. I recommend it to everyone that has gastric problems looking for over the counter relief. my doctor prescribed this in prescription form but it was very expensive. the over the counter version works just as well. so glad I found this fast acting relief.
Ive suffered with gastritis, some episodes have put me in the hospital. Yes, they are that severe if you have ever had a severe attack. These kill heartburn immediately for me. Now, when I have a severe attacks, I take 2 of these along with Gaviscon liquid (which is very hard to find now) and find relief within a half hr instead of going to the hospital. I was inside the pharmacy and saw a dr purchasing these for himself as well.
This is the only product that relieves my heartburn. Too bad it is rarely in stock at Walmart.
I have been using this for several years and swear by it. Very few cases of heartburn as long as I take everyday.
