This product was all I had hoped it to be. Having immune issues it has helped me some using this product. It purifies just great and holds a decent amount of finished purified water for use. Another reason I like this product, is the extra spout at the base of the handle. It only takes a cpl of minutes to purify more than half full of water, w/in the base purification completed. I would recommend this item for anyone w/immune issues. The water looks and tastes so crystal clear! I found out the water I drink comes from a pond! The water was from some type of filtration source. I was so amazed that this purifier actually got rid of the pond smell and taste from this water! The sourced water filtered from where I obtained the water already did a nice job for the most part. Until I noticed the pond water slight odor and taste from the Season of Spring settling in and w/in the water source. Normally that would settle what little particles would filter through the source filtration. None has passed through w/this Water Pitcher whatsoever! Thank you for making my small world a big difference! Yes, I would surely recommend this for a gift for anyone! Worth the value and money spent! I can’t believe it actually works! I bought a tds meter before getting this filter that comes with their own tds meter and it’s unbelievable. I thought that maybe their tds meter would be “modified” to always show a good number that’s why I used my other meter and tap water was 203-219 but after filter it shows 0-1... I highly recommend getting this!!
No regrets buying this! The filters come already primed and are super easy to put in! It filters the water quickly. My water definitely tastes much better.
It sure took a long time to arrive, but it seems to work as well as I hoped. I saw this tested on Project Farm and decided this was the water filter for me. The 12 Cup one is larger than I expected, and it doesn't fit in my refrigerator without some real shelf shuffling. On the counter, it's great, especially with the spigot option. This water is so free of contaminants that I also use it in my watercolors and my coffee maker. No more white scale!
I had my home water tested before and after putting it through the filter pitcher. Huge difference with this particular brand and filter element. Highly recommend and This is not a paid reviewer just my experience with this product
Product rec'd from Walmart seller Max Warehouse. Water meter missing from box. 1800Walmart provided credit for replacement meter. Im happy! Nice product to use when making cold brew!
Water filter is great but tester seems a little off (I think it rounds down). I tested tap water with two tds meters, the one that comes with it and a $60 tds meter. The original tap water with the $60 meter read 215, the products meter read 97. When ran through the filter the waters ppm quality was still amazing. The $60 meter read a mere 3 ppm, the products meter read 0. so although the meters may be different the water filter still did a great job. 3ppms is still very good and very close to 0. We'll see how long the water filter lasts...
After a lot of research I decided to purchase one of these because all the water in Arizona is terrible even the filtered water that you purchase. The water from the zero water pitcher tastes amazing! Everything came as expected. The big problem that I encountered was the filter only lasted one week. Myself and my daughter are the only ones using it and we had probably gone through about 4 gallons total in that time frame. After the 4th gallon the water started tasting like lemon. I researched and found out that it's because the water filter is needing to be replaced. Can't afford filters if it's going to only last me for a week. Also the water tester was rusted and the batteries were rusted as well which gave me the impression that perhaps this product has been sitting on a shelf for a very long time and the filter may have already been close to expiring. I will exchange it and update if the next experience improves.
This product has a lot of good ratings. The description did not clarify that it does not filter fluoride. Fluoride filtering was one of the most important reasons i wanted to purchase a water filtration system. i have city water, so most of what this filters I don't need. i will be returning it.
The tap at the bottom of the container was never water tight, we used the pitcher over the sink for a few days, waking up to an empty pitcher each morning. Now the tiny spring keeping the flimsy washer sort of sealed and allowing it to slowly drip is not even coming shut anymore so the water litterally flows out of there. If the engineers who designed this are reading this: you either use a real valve or faucet, or you don't have an open hole at the bottom of a container that's supposed to be full of water. They must have known this so my only explanation for this design is they wanted it to stay dry on the inside to avoid it getting wet, which it does wonderfully.
