Makes water takes 100 percent better.
This replacement water filter for zero water filtration system, was perfect. It was packaged quite well, and it was fresh. I'm happy Walmart stocks these.
Zero water does a great job of removing water particulates. We are on a well, and the water has iron and minerals. I like checking up by using the measuring dipstick, but I use the filter longer than the 006 recommendation. When I can taste a difference, I change the filter…usually about 3 months. I use filtered water for drinking and cooking. My husband uses the tap for the coffee maker. I’d rather he didn’t.
These are the best filters out there! The water always tastes to clean and fresh - like mountain water. I like that the jug comes with the water tester so you can tell when your water has been completely filtered. It filters out the most chemicals, contaminates and metals than all the other similar type filters on the market. I highly recommend it. Try it out - and compare it to other bottled water brands as well as tap water. You will be shocked - and will not want to be without this filter.
Maybe it's my city's tap water but this filter only lasted for 3 weeks. My TDS tester reads 0.27. That's way higher than recommended. For some, this is worth it but for others like me who have to replace the filter every month rather than the ideal 3 months, look somewhere else for an alternative. Cheers.
The filter only worked correctly for about 2 weeks. Now it takes HOURS for the water to filter through. And I don't live where the water is that bad, so it couldn't be that it's getting plugged with contaminates. The original filter that came with the pitcher lasted for a few months, using the same exact water. I tried a few suggestions I saw online from the manufacturer to get it to work, and none helped. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't have purchased this pitcher at all. What good is a filter pitcher if you have to replace the filter every 2 weeks? lol
Although the filter was sealed, when opening the packaging and removing the lid, the filter was wet and leaking ... which means that it is used, the meter reading is above 100. I do not recommend it
All six came without a plastic ring to seal the tap water from filtered water thus having no water actually filtered. I tried using an used rubber ring and there is no place to make it seal the top from the bottom. I do NOT recommend.
When it arrived, it was not sealed in the box, the bag holding the filter was ripped open. When I took the protective cover off the top to screw it into the pitcher, it was dirty, with mold around the edges and dirt particles on top of the screen filter. It had already been used. I do not appreciate the shoddiness of this company sending me an unsealed, used, dirty filter! I will never buy from them again.
This is supposed to be a clean, new filter delivered today. The water taste horrible; it has a bite to it and leaves a very bad taste. Having to shop online and hoping everything will be okay is making it more difficult not easier. I don't know if this is defective or what; but the water taste nasty. Everything has been thoroughly cleaned and washed.
