This sound bar is pretty good at first. Good sound and connection. However after several months it now crackles and disconnects randomly. If I power off and back on it's ok for a few days then it does it again
I used to be a loyal Roku customer with 7 roku streaming products. I recently had a product that stopped working after about a year so I contacted Roku's "customer service" to see if they'd be willing to exchange the product. In my opening message I stated all necessary information, such as when I purchased the product, what issues I was facing, what troubleshooting steps I had already completed, and I asked if I could exchange this product. All I wanted was a yes or no answer. The person/bot I spoke to just kept asking my the same questions I had already answered instead of answering my question. All I wanted was a yes or no answer and they just kept ignoring the question and asking me the same questions I had already answered. After AN HOUR of this back and forth and speaking to 2 separate agents (one of which was a"pruduct specialist", I did not get a single yes or no answer. Just repeating the same questions I had already answers. After Many years of being a Roku customer, I am finally fed up with their "customer service" (or lack thereof" and switching all my products to amazon. Roku doesn't even have a live number you can call so half the time I can't tell if I'm chatting with a live person or a bot, because they keep spitting out the same questions I've already answered. I will be tossing all my current roku products and switching all to firestick I will NEVER recommend this company to another person again. DO NOT BUY ROKU
Had this for 2 months and loved it. However, it started blinking when you turned it on between the home screen and black screen then the tv says no source. If you unplug it from power and plug it back up, it comes on. Thought it could be the tv or hdmi cord. I have a Roku ultra and a streaming stick both worker off the same hdmi port and cord great. Tried to factory reset about 3 times and nothing. It like it's an internal hdmi issue.
I have several ROKU devices. I really like the streambar because most TVs have the speaker in the back and they're difficult to hear. The streambar removes that problem
Between the speaker that cracks and blew in just about 12 months, the constant software issues, and customer support that doesn't respond, this speaker is junk. I gave this brand a chance with the small sound bar (I really wanted the Soundbar Pro, extra speakers, and Woofer), but I'm now returning to what I know what works and is high quality -- Apple products.
